Man!! you put so much work into all these charts and calculations. We truly love and appreciate all your efforts. It only shows how dedicated you are with what you love and how much time you put into the production of these videos. I hope our kind comments give you positive motivation to keep going. THANK YOU for doing this!!
Excellent video sir, as always it has been a real pleasure to watch you hunt. I appreciate the commentary both during and after the hunting as you explain what you are doing and what you did. Super excited about the advances made for Air Rifles and the potential that those slugs show! Keep it up sir!
Hey Matt, I actually really like this vlog-style videos. You don't have to make all your videos all professional and high production since you're always full of quality content.
There's a lot to like about your videos. Obviously you do great work getting the video and audio just right (even on this self-filmed one), good work editing, your marksmanship skills are very impressive, but I think what I like most is your passion for the sport of hunting/the guns/the outdoor life. It just seems like you genuinely have a good time making these videos and we sure like watching them.
I also use the same theory you applied on the turret adjustment of scope for elevation and shooting long range with my FX IMPACT .177 and Hawke 30sf Sidewinder...... Nice to watch your video Matt it's very interesting, never missed your video upload
Loving that barrel and slug combo . Great for long-distance and help Buck the wind. I'm excited brother! Time to go out and thump something. From Albuquerque New Mexico USA thank you for the great video.
Thanks for another fun pest control and air gun testing video. It is interesting to see how air guns are transitioning to fill more and more of the the shooting/hunting domain traditionally held by .22 rimfire. I shoot a lot of pest pigeons and starlings at dairies here in Washington State, USA, and prefer the lighter weight and lower BC of diabolo pellets since they provide excellent accuracy and energy up to 100 yards but lose energy and velocity quickly after that which reduces their range compared to higher BC projectiles like the slugs you are testing. This is necessary to limit the flight distance of pellets shot at elevated angles like barn roofs and keep the pellets safely on the property and away from neighboring farms. However, I look forward to testing slugs for longer shots when you and others have refined their design. Keep up the good work and excellent videos! Jess
I totally agree about pellets being better for pest control in sensitive areas. The slugs will cause too much damage! That’s the beauty of having a gun that can shoot both I guess!
I've fed the birds of prey here a few times. Love it. We protected a breeding pair of falcon from the crows last year. It was wonderful. Usd my AA S510 .25.
I like this video, it's right when you were realizing how good a FX impact is. Next was you introducing the FX company to the world. Airguns have never been the same sence Matt Dubber and FX himself.
Thanks for the amazing pest control video , please can you make more varminting videos and more ones like this, i really enjoy your work and its so nice to have entertainment from a fellow eastern caper!!!
Matt.... boytjie.. ! I feel so lost without my Gammo 440Hunter and scope. Bliksems stole my rig. Can't afford another so it will be a while. Ill just watch your ventures . I appreciate your efforts and time spent on your posting these vids. Glad I found your channel. Subbed.
Indian Mynas are a pest, with my Evanix Blizzard 10 in .177 with H&N Baracuda Hunter I got them every time. The slugs are just another level. Pity they were not around when I had the Evanix it would have loved them. One day when I am big we'll get the FX Impact.
Matt, I thank you for working with FX in bringing the slug barrels to market. This is a huge step for the aG industry to actually step up and provide us with such leading edge offerings. Dotyat100, builder of the talon/Dors, Tofazfou, (Cedric) PJ, Roachcreek, and my self have been testing, designing and shooting .257 as larger sluggs for years now. the results have be astounding. My .257, with my modified bullets from my modified NOE molds can shoot well under an half inch inch at 100 yards consistently, and push as much as 200 fpe. I really enjoy casting for them. Nick at NSA has sent me several of his designs to test, with very good results. I assume that the Impact shooing the NSA Slugs is in .22 (judging from the light weight of the slugs). they are indeed impressive! Thanks Matt KnifeMaker
Some interesting stuff here, ive yet to find any rifle as good out the box as the Air Arms TX 200. Ive owned HW 77s and HW 97s both exellent guns but AA still has it
What do you think of the new Sig scopes for air rifles that you can send data in and get custom turrets vs using the sticker method? I think the FX impact the slug barrel and that scope system would make for some precision shooting.
Another great video, I note that .177 was not mentioned. I live in a country with .177 as my sole legal choice in airgun calibre so I would like to see more choice in ammunition, barrels etc in this calibre.
Matt, another awesome video. would love to sê some more action with the Huben. You are really an inspiration with these pcp. Giving me something to look forward tho when is start working after completing my studies. Will then finally be able to afford one of those marvellous inventions.
Very informative- and fun... thanks !! Have you done any more tests with NSA slugs? So do those shorter ones fit in the mag and which (of the shorter/ magazine friendly) ones have you found shoot best ?
Hi Matt, If you could have an fx in .30 HP or a .25 HP would you prefer it to the .22? If so, which one? Also same question, BUT, Daystate Pulsar HP or FX Impact X HP ? I'm leaning toward the FX Impact X 700mm .30 HP with a slug liner, Aztec Emerald 5-25 and moderator of course. Thanks for all the great videos, keep up the great job. Cheers! PS, I am in the states so caliber is not an issue.
Hi Matt, have you tried the Huben slugs in with your fx slug liner, since you said the Huben slugs have a b.c of .185 vs nsa slug with b.c .075, if they can't fit in the magazine perhaps you can hand load them.
so you shot a goose in the body with a .22 slug :O. Got the huben K1 to, but not allowed to hunt with air rifles (Netherlands) unless special permits are given by lawmaker individually to hunt these.
Matt nice video, kinda of an old school style !!!!!, great to see hunting performance of the Nielsen Slugs and FX liners, but I think it was cooler that you also showed the hunting performance of the Huben K1, have you tried to shoot the Nielsen Slugs out of it ??? Thanks man!
Hi Matt great video as always. Can you please give more information on the barrel in the Impact. I currently have the stock x barrel 0.22 in my Impact, think it's a 1:16. What twist rate and length is that barrel. Palguns South Africa
AirArmsHuntingSA I was contemplating getting the Dreamline in .177, but since that's the case I'll start off in . 22. Hopefully you'll get the chance to do some development in .177 , with FX.
The barrel sleeve allows ‘refreshing’ the lands and grooves? Or maybe different sleeves have different ballistics somehow? Good to see the TH-cam “Adpocalypse” hasn’t shut you down, Matt.
Hey Matt, on your Nightforce SHV scope.....is it First focal plane or second? what would you recommend for a PCP airgun shooting from 50yrds to 150yrds? first or second focal plane scopes? thanks
Looking good Matt, I think people will be pretty happy with the barrel/slug combo. After some time myself I found not wanting to go back to pellets. Lol Nick ruined it for me. Good to see you filming solo, I know it's a pain in the ass.
nice video Matt. interesting how you did the stickers on your scope. did you get those numbers on a calculation program (chairgun or so ) or did you dial and shoot and note down the numbers?
I measured the slug & pellet BCs with a LabRadar and then plugged the info into Strelok Pro, which gave me the drop data. It was spot on, no need to even verify!
Did you put the picatinny rail on the WildCat or did they send it that way? I just installed mine on my mk2 .25 cal. Love it and love the possibilities with it.
matt, so slugs will not perfome good in a rifled barrel? those smooth twist barrel are they available in blancs for custom fitting to another air rifle brand?
Hey, Matt, where did you get the stickers for the turret markings? Is that DIY or did you order them. I'd love to get those for rimfires and subsonic rounds.
Dear matt can you tell me where to buy the stickers with meters signed in the sticker that goes around the vertical turret so I can adjust to the sticker meters so I don't have to do it step by step this is only for making it easy to operate
Matt I have an FX Impact X and a slug barrel on order in .22. The stock setup is a 600mm barrel so I ordered a 600mm slug barrel. I have read where the 500mm barrel seemed best for the slugs. Do you have any oppinion . It seems to me that 600 would be better due to less air to get the same fps.
PDS groupings at 8 inches and beyond at 50 yards. I actually spoke to fx USA about it this week and they were great. The technicians are looking into the issues but don’t have an answer because none of them really have testing in this which is a little comical. I will say I have been shooting jsb mk 1&II out of it and its extremely accurate and actually still am using it for pellets. It’s not the b liner either.
Man!! you put so much work into all these charts and calculations. We truly love and appreciate all your efforts. It only shows how dedicated you are with what you love and how much time you put into the production of these videos. I hope our kind comments give you positive motivation to keep going. Hey Matt, I actually really like this vlog-style videos. You don't have to make all your videos all professional and high production since you're always full of quality content.
Thanks for the feedback! I think the more “professional” videos are just my way of expressing myself creatively. I think both styles have their place!
There's a lot to like about your videos. This is such an underrated channel it should have at least a million subs 👍👍👍
It's awesome to see you back to your roots!!!!
Love the channel

man i love watching your videos idk why i just do!
Great video Matt, thanks again! I definitely need to try out some slugs, great results from them.

I like this video, it's right when you were realizing how good a FX impact is. Next was you introducing the FX company to the world. Airguns have never been the same sence Matt Dubber and FX himself.
Nice love bird pesting videos!! Awesome video Matt!!

At least you didn't have to collect the bird dinner for another 👍
those slugs are accurate, good video n shooting Matt
Nice video. I'm waiting for the slug liners for my crown. I've been trying to decide which new FFP scope to purchase. That Nightforce will be the one.
You’ll love the Nightforce!
Indian Mynas are a pest, with my Evanix Blizzard 10 in .177 with H&N Baracuda Hunter I got them every time. The slugs are just another level. Pity they were not around when I had the Evanix it would have loved them. One day when I am big we'll get the FX Impact.

Thank you for the video, Matt! I'm happy that you like RusBear's ScopeCam.
RusBear I might have to get one. I love the clarity, sound and slowmo.
AirGunner Bob_O feel free to write me an e-mail on boldov.nickolay@gmail.com
Awesome hunt love my impact got to upgrade it to the new barrel. Love that stock on the wildcat
Oh my goodness!!! Im so exited for these barrels! That was a falcon that took your dove.
Im rewatchin everyone of your vids since Saturday I'll get my first pcp, a fx streamline, and i want to learn as much as I can!
Hey bro I know this is 2 years later but how is the streamline doing? I’d love to know
cheers matt another great video thank for posting
I absolutely love it when you get a shot dead on fantastic shooting
Another great video, I note that .177 was not mentioned. I live in a country with .177 as my sole legal choice in airgun calibre so I would like to see more choice in ammunition, barrels etc in this calibre.

Great Video Matt
Very informative- and fun... thanks !! Have you done any more tests with NSA slugs? So do those shorter ones fit in the mag and which (of the shorter/ magazine friendly) ones have you found shoot best ?
Yes, any of the flat based slugs under 30gr will fit
Thanks and keep the brilliant videos coming, please ! have been a fan since video #1. (The layout and quality have improved immensely btw.)
i love scopecam vids
This what I love,, pest control videos... Anti stress.. 💖💖💖👌👌👌👌
Matt, I'm pretty sure you made a vid on setting up your scope with labels but I can't seem to locate it. Can you steer us in the right direction? Thx
Ótimo vídeo, saudações do BRASIL Matt.

Good evening Matt great shooting are these slug liners choked
Hi Matt, If you could have an fx in .30 HP or a .25 HP would you prefer it to the .22? If so, which one?
Also same question, BUT, Daystate Pulsar HP or FX Impact X HP ?
I'm leaning toward the FX Impact X 700mm .30 HP with a slug liner, Aztec Emerald 5-25 and moderator of course.
Thanks for all the great videos, keep up the great job.
Cheers!
PS, I am in the states so caliber is not an issue.
That is the bird shooting I like to see. Nice work.
Hi Matt, have you tried the Huben slugs in with your fx slug liner, since you said the Huben slugs have a b.c of .185 vs nsa slug with b.c .075, if they can't fit in the magazine perhaps you can hand load them.
Cool, channel thanks for the info. What twist rate r u using for slugs
Love the DonnyFL Sumo on my Impact. Have you considered using the night stalker shooting tripod with Reaper Grip? Great video!
Yet again ,, great job...
Is there a formula for
Pellet weight, pellet speed, and twist rate?
Thank you Sir...
You eat pretty good. Doves and pigeons are always great eating.
Great Video
Thanks 👌 👍 👍 👍
so you shot a goose in the body with a .22 slug :O. Got the huben K1 to, but not allowed to hunt with air rifles (Netherlands) unless special permits are given by lawmaker individually to hunt these.
G’day mate...love those wattle trees 👍
Matt nice video, kinda of an old school style !!!!!, great to see hunting performance of the Nielsen Slugs and FX liners, but I think it was cooler that you also showed the hunting performance of the Huben K1, have you tried to shoot the Nielsen Slugs out of it ???
Thanks man!
Hi Matt great video as always. Can you please give more information on the barrel in the Impact. I currently have the stock x barrel 0.22 in my Impact, think it's a 1:16. What twist rate and length is that barrel. Palguns South Africa
The stock .22 X barrel is a 1:25”
Great video, Matt. I'm looking forward to more slug development...... is there a chance we'll see some slugs in .177 ?
The slugs are available in .177 already, but the FX barrel liners aren’t available in .177 yet for the slugs
AirArmsHuntingSA I was contemplating getting the Dreamline in .177, but since that's the case I'll start off in . 22. Hopefully you'll get the chance to do some development in .177 , with FX.
Very cool all your videos, I'm your fan of brazil.
Great video matt as always thought I'd let u know TH-cam have not been giving me notifications for like your last 3videos
Great videos! Can you do another video on cleaning and cooking the birds?
The barrel sleeve allows ‘refreshing’ the lands and grooves? Or maybe different sleeves have different ballistics somehow?
Good to see the TH-cam “Adpocalypse” hasn’t shut you down, Matt.
I need numbers ! How fast can a slug go with the impact/crown ?
Please let me know what is the carrycase/bag you used for your impact? Love your videos!
Thanks Dana! Keep up the good work yourself!
Finally a PCP fitted with a Tier 1 scope
I o9
The Falcon that you fed is a Lanner Falcon.
hello mett where I buy this escoop can, if there is any link please provide me there
I have a quick question, can I use the slugs without the slug barrel, and is it recommended??
Would there be any point buying the. 22 slug barrel liner for a sub 12flbs wildcat mk2??? Great video as always matt 👌👌👍🏻👍🏻
No, not for Sub 12 and not for Wildcat (magazine won’t hold them nicely)
Thanks matt, I'll give the twist X liner a go instead 👍🏻
nice video Matt. interesting how you did the stickers on your scope. did you get those numbers on a calculation program (chairgun or so ) or did you dial and shoot and note down the numbers?
I measured the slug & pellet BCs with a LabRadar and then plugged the info into Strelok Pro, which gave me the drop data. It was spot on, no need to even verify!
waaaaaw😅😅😅😅very" amazing airsof....vry" good ... i like your airsof mr. ( indonesian people)
Nice bro...😊👍🇲🇨
Did you put the picatinny rail on the WildCat or did they send it that way? I just installed mine on my mk2 .25 cal. Love it and love the possibilities with it.
matt, so slugs will not perfome good in a rifled barrel? those smooth twist barrel are they available in blancs for custom fitting to another air rifle brand?
Do you ever use the rat super slug on any pests in your videos?
Hey, Matt, where did you get the stickers for the turret markings? Is that DIY or did you order them. I'd love to get those for rimfires and subsonic rounds.
Hello from Western Massachusetts USA .
i think u flinched a bit on that miss in the beginning thats a great gun its dead on
Recently got a new wildcat mkii .30 for my birthday, any tuning tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
How many shots does a wildcat make with one fill.
Dear matt can you tell me where to buy the stickers with meters signed in the sticker that goes around the vertical turret so I can adjust to the sticker meters so I don't have to do it step by step this is only for making it easy to operate
Awesome video
Optisan ffp scope on the wildcat
Night force score on the impact
So no one is looking for them on the element optics posted in the description
Matt I have an FX Impact X and a slug barrel on order in .22. The stock setup is a 600mm barrel so I ordered a 600mm slug barrel. I have read where the 500mm barrel seemed best for the slugs. Do you have any oppinion . It seems to me that 600 would be better due to less air to get the same fps.
The 600 is better, in an FX at least. It depends on the valve/hammer setup of the gun.
Thanks for getting back. 600 it is.
Thanks for the advice on .22 slug liner at 600mm. I just received .25 slug liner at 700mm and it is horrendous at any distance.
Dan Horrendous ? What is the issue ?
PDS groupings at 8 inches and beyond at 50 yards. I actually spoke to fx USA about it this week and they were great. The technicians are looking into the issues but don’t have an answer because none of them really have testing in this which is a little comical. I will say I have been shooting jsb mk 1&II out of it and its extremely accurate and actually still am using it for pellets. It’s not the b liner either.
Great video.. whats the type of the barrel you use with the fx impact and what type of slugs?
Oo and Matt, I would love to get your opinion on the H&N Rabbit Magnum Power?
Hey Matt. Awesome video. Where can we get those slugs in SA or do we have to order them online?
Airgun Nut sells them I believe
AirArmsHuntingSA will check them out. Thanks.
I like yur show man👌
Matt please try and get your hands on jsb hades 😄😁
It's not as dirty and dusty as your friends have on a farm. But there are many more birds)))
Belos tiros parabéns,qual calibre você usa nas suas caçadas?
Great shooting Matt doves and geese downed...
Friend, where i can find these stickers you have at 1:40 ?? Any link please ?
He makes them
