I had one of these cars last year, the muffler fell off all on it's own. It was OBNOXIOUSLY loud. Sounded good for a V6, but man it was loud.

That's not to bad I had a ss the super charged 3.8 version I was surprised when I did the same thing but what surprised me the most when I did true duals on an old 4 barrel quadrajet 4.3 now I have a 1996 cougar with the 4.6 and h pipe set up people don't expect that from a car like that

I changed my 1996 4.3 gmc sierra manifolds,y-pipe then straight piped it no cat no muffler and sounds better than that....

3.5L V6, it's an LS. The LTZs came with 3.9L V6s.
