Are you able to set the maps to the drive modes? So Eco mode limits boost to like 10psi or something to make it really fuel efficient and conservative, normal for stock boost, sport for extra boost, amongst the other changes in the tune.
3 cylinder is what makes this car so special. 4 cylinder would kill the dynamics that are unique to the GR, you’re now dealing with more rotational mass among other things and it will be just like every other 4 cylinder. By the way 3 cylinders always produce better exhaust sound than 4 cylinders.
2 Step and Launch control are honestly the same thing, just different terms for it. The launch control holds a fixed RPM for you and it will also build some boost! Now I know in some cases 2 step will use ignition cutting which makes super loud pops and bangs, even fire but that's hard on engines. Its far better to control the cut rpm with fueling and then using some fixed ignition retard to make boost. It will accomplish the same thing with less stress on the engine.
@@arctictruck10 Faster definitely doesn't mean more fun LOL. Plenty of other cars are way faster in a straight line or otherwise that are way less fun and make more sense than buying an AT GRC.
@ZWortek having 300hp that is more hp than a 1999 BMW M3? Are you saying the 99 M3 is boring? Are you saying all the PDK 911 gt3 are boring? 300 hp is pretty impressive for only three cylinders that it take vw one more to get over it.
@@arctictruck10 99 M3 in manual would be infinitely more fun than the slush box auto. 911 GT3 is a better car in every way than just about anything ever made aside from practicality so it doesn't matter which transmission, but they also make the best manual transmission on the planet in a production car aside from long gears. The PDK is one of the few AT's in the world that may be better suited to the cars they come in than a manual. The GRC 8 speed isn't going to be even remotely close to a PDK or ZF8 LOL so I don't even know why you're bringing up other cars like that. Buying a GRC with the AT to go faster in a straight line or on a track is a wild decision. That car hardly makes sense to buy without the manual since it's best suited to enthusiasts who want a fun experience during spirited driving on backroads. That and daily it in between.
These features are so well thought out and integrated. Big kudos!
is the burble always on or is it something you can turn on and off in the app?
You can switch it
Off
Low
Med
High
@murk4545 is it switchable while driving?
looking to talk to you i went on the site and gave you my information but thank you for the videos love it!

Any word on this?
Once some form of burbles are added, will this be able to be configured to specific modes so let's say 1 no burble and 2 burble?
this is something we cannot due yet with Ecutek. Its possible we will be able to down the road.
@@LIMITplus1 thank you! I'll be by as soon as my warranty is up for a dyno tune 😂
They do let you swap burble on off now.
rolling ALS overshoot ;)

These cars are so cool, I just wish they weren’t a 3 cylinder. Just imagine if this engine was scaled up to a 4 cylinder.
WHO CARES IT CAN STILL MAKE 600+HP.

Will a 2 step tune be added later down the line?
