Absolutely! When I saw those increases in the 2023 catalog it made a little bit more sense.

I found one from 1980’s it’s full gold I bought it for 7.950
Now that is a nice COTY

Another good one Jon. The COTY looks really cool. Not a bad price point either and I agree that the box is a big improvement on last year!! I just hope the USA version is the one I really like!! The UK/European version will be a lot more expensive for sure!! A couple of the 540s are pretty cool as well. You need to get Zippo to produce some more big flame Zippos my friend!! 2 is no way near enough for your collection!! Will be having another look at the catalogue later, see if I missed anything!!
I wish they would sell a variety of the regular inserts. I feel like some of the lighters in my collection would have looked so much cooler with a brass insert, and some with that beautiful black one that they have in the all copper lighter! There would be a market in selling a variety of inserts and enabling folks to further customize their lighter.
Agreed! When I need a regular insert I usually just send in a couple empty cases or busted inserts.
However I do think they would sell a lot of the new black insert.

Haiii JYRO... Im from Malaysia. Love to watch your video. Im new to Zippo collecting. Need your help to give me info about "when @ what year Zippo change their case from 4 hinges to 5 hinges (modern case)? Really appreciate your help
One more thing. Can you do a video about history of Zippo boxes because I saw so may type of boxes from paper box, tins and plastic boxes of Zippo.
Those are great subjects!
As far as hinges, go 1937-1942 was 4 barrel, 1943-1945 3 barrel black crackle.
1946-1949 3 barrel
1950-present 5 barrel.
The boxes will be a good video topic. Thanks!
Zippos use of the cannabis design allways confused me. If you read the terms and conditions on their website for a custom made zippo they state they will not print any that promote the use of drugs
That is true, wonder if you tried to do your own, I wonder if they’d approve it or not
