- In this video I use slow motion to make a tutorial practice video on how to do 10 cool zippo tricks to impress anyone ! I even created 4 new zippo tricks for the video ! At the end of the video I show the titanium armor with a diamond super tank in it. The Zippo in the thumbnail is my armor 26 high polish solid sterling silver.

I've been looking into maybe getting one of these lighters but one thing that kinda scares me is the fragility of the top piece of the lighter. Like I'm sure it's fine but I fear that at some point by accident the top piece will break off.

And if it does break off… why is that scary to you?
@@sean1e100 because...the point of a flip lighter...is the top that flips open. It's not a flip lighter any more, if the top breaks off.

@@phdfloppa7178 everything can break yk, it's just taking care of it like any other thing else. Dont throw or drop it hard. Accidents can happen and when in the early process of learning just have a fire recistent blanket or fire exthingquicher near by. Or just blow really hard, hah. But most importantly is to know where to buy Zippo's. Dont just buy them from a random toy store, a good quallity Zippo mostly comes with from a store with the Zippo fuel. (mostly)

Lol the reservoir dogs was the first trick I ever learned except I held the lighter upright and used my middle finger to flip the lid up and then snap down on the flint wheel.

I tried the reservoir dog and got it on like my second or third try. You really gotta go for it though and it kinda hurts.
Im new in the zippo scene what are armour zippos? And what zippo would u recommend i get for doing tricks on cause i checked and the war armour lighter u used is quite hard to come by where i live. Also what is like the gold standard zippo?

when playing these games with the lighter, the pin does not break? the lighter does not fail?
Do you think the Zorro 912 would stand to those tricks? It is the only thing i see with a similar hinge to a war armor.
From my experience with Zorro lighters, theyre actually pretty good and handle my abuse well. With that kind of hinge the only thing you might worry about is the pin as the hinges wont bend (unless you whack the thing against something hard), and the pin can be replaced with a piece of a peper clip of the right size or anything simmilar. So i'd say its a good alternative, as long as youre not afraid of replacing the hinge pin if you're hard on your lighters.

The first time I tried to strike the flint on my zippo I somehow sliced my finger 😂
just bought one, do I have to break in the hinge or something. I have to whip the lighter as hard as I can to get it to close by centrifugal force.

No offcourse not, it is a completly different lighter, other design, no hinges, no Zippo at all actually... WTF dude, most stupid question on the internet.

Dude. Ya. I was thinking thank god he's not using a regular zippo body. Cause those Zippo hinges man. They are just honestly bad, like if I keep doing flip tops and reverse flip tops, I'd have to just renew the Hinge every two months because I can't stand it when the top just does not sit flush on the lighter. That tack to use tacks to change zippo hinges is a godsend, actually changed everything. I know how frustrating it is to find the right wire size. Btw, here in India, I found some bicycle spokes which have a wire inside that fit the hinges. Maybe you'll get those there in Canada as well.

I'm trying to figure out the best wick length that won't produce a flame that's too long (I want it as short as possible but it seems it's not about the wick length coz' I've have the wick at 3mm, now, from the bottom and the flame seem to be still too long) but at the same time, don't accelerate the evaporation by exposing the wick too much.
