The failure of the dragon market is a much bigger issue than just slapping an rng meter on it. Dragon loot needs a complete rework to remain relevant and viable going forward.
Divan's Alloy is not meant to be grinded for. It is almost like the god Divan himself must selects you. The divan drill is currently the only (meaningfully) divine rarity item and I think the near unobtainable drop chance is justified. Further, if a rng meter system was implemented, Alloy would not even be the best for coins per run. It would probably end up being jaderald or flawless jaspers or something else.
A lot of people forget that there are other forms of pity systems in Skyblock other than meter. For example, special zealot spawn chances increase the longer you have gone without one. I think this silent system is much more suited for dragons than an explicit rng meter system.
Although there is an argument for some form of pity system for ironman, I feel that in the true spirit of ironman, ironman should mirror classic as closely in mechanics and dropchances as possible. Buffing drop chances to appease the ironman grind is not in the spirit of ironman.
Dragons are a complete joke and literally just disguised gambling. Even the Draconic sacrifice altar is EVEN MORE GAMBLING

I recently proposed a update suggestion on the forums regarding how dyes are dropped. I fully agree a meter is silly, however if we used a reduced system like with the alloy granted theres no real way to tell when the last drop is people wont grind dyes but it would make dyes like celadon and cyclamen obtainable

for me as an ironman with around 2.5k hours playtime i dont think that there has to be a rng meter for dragons since you anyway have to grind lots of ender pearls and kills for final destination so most itonman anyway grind zealot bruizers there for. A meter for nucleus runs was already in the planning as far as i know and most ironman players will definitly apreciate it as soon as that will get added
I really like the concept of the ironman profile. It's so satisfying saying you earned everything you own.
On the other hand I like grinding coins and paying for something someone else dropped because they have more resources or more luck.

500 runs is too low as at its LOWEST rn its 1/8000, if theyd add it for alloy it would be at like 12000 for guaranteed maybe
They should make it so if you drop something such as a neurons handle or judgement core you can sacrifice it to gain xp in the rng Meyer just to help out iron man cause I got 3 judgment cores and I already have my term and a second one that just sits in the museum

Imagine hypixel admins rework kismets and make rolling not random, what I mean if u get a 1slot fish (the chance for that is 1/1379) you can reroll it into anything, it would interesting making that the reroll is based on the chance of the rerolled item it means if you get a 1slot fish u could have 100% chance to reroll it into a handle or a scroll, same with thunderlord 7 in m7, precursor eyes (in my life I got 3, 2 in a row :‹) etc etc

What’s the point of that? Might as well just increase drop chance of every other item rather and make it unnecessarily complicated. Also just because you got first slot fish doesn’t mean you lost a potential Handle or other rare item. It means you got fish instead of 20 undead essense.
