P.B.III's techniques, timing, feels are still there even at 60. Only difference noticed is his speed on the approach has slowed down a little, and the deliveries are with less vigor. His consistency on the lanes had won him the 36 PBA and 10 PBA50 titles with 4 majors along the way. A truely gifted player in the upper echelon of the bowling grests in the PBA. Hope we haven't seen the last of him yet. Alway rooted for him when he competed and enjoy watching his effortless deliveries.
SPOILER I can not believe this performance by the Waco Wonders. Everybody and I mean everybody counted them out and they just flat out outplayed a perennial title threat to advance to the finals. Their road to the finals has been Starting as the 7 seed Defeating a red-hot Pounders team Defeating the previously #1 ranked Muscle Defeating the #3 seed and massively hyped Kingpins Defeating the #2 seed, title threat and former champion Dallas Strikers No matter how their match against Portland goes this team has made it farther than they had any business going. Sterner, Snodgrass, BJ, PB3 and of course Ciminelli have bowled their hearts out and it has showed. Awesome performance by Waco.
I love the PBA League but it just makes me hate the way that they do it. The fact that all of these teams come out just to play a single elimination bracket randomly after 3 months of no tv shows makes no sense to me. The fact that all of these teams travel to Portland just to bowl 2 games on TV and are done for the next 4 months is stupid. They could get so much more out of this and they fact they don't is wild to me.
What a commentary. Mentioning 1-3-6 twice, but it is 1-2-4 standing on the pindeck. Is the commentary left-handed maybe? Annoying and unprofessional is it anyways.
Parker Bohn is thee man. One of the very best ever to step onto a bowling lane.
I've had the pleasure of meeting PB3 and getting a couple of lessons from him. Absolute class act great to see him still rocking the lanes at his age!
PB3 will still be throwing it like that at 70. His game is built for longevity imo just like Norm Duke
I think eating right and exercising will give you a perfect balance to be perfectly fit as a bowler that will make you be on your A game.
