My brother got a mod where the opening screen (the load game, start new, etc) plays this instead of what it normally does. It also has a different background.
Oh cool. What is your background? Mine is the Dragonborn looking up into the sky with an axe, and I think there is also a dead dragon, but that is from memory and I am too lazy to open up the game to find out.
I remember watching this when I was 12, I’m 19 now, you should really remaster this song now.. everyone would love to hear this and brought back now :’ (

Malukah, this is the first time in a looooong while that i have cried, and its because this song and the age of aggression/oppression are so beautiful! You should definately sing a song for the trailer of elder scrolls 6 or something like that =)
This is the greatest compliment. My favorite songs by other musicians have this effect on me, so it´s awesome to know you get goosebumps!! Thank you MoonWolf!
Why so many dislikes? Even if you don't prefer a thing, you should recognize talent and passion. Malukah, thanks for performing so thoughtfully. You really bring the music to life!
Relistening to all the covers after a few years Loved these back in 8th and 9th grade, in 2018 and 2019 I'm a college freshman now, and I'm just kinda remembering what made me happy all that time ago Thank you, Malukah, for giving me something to look back fondly on
I don't know if you check comments anymore but let me say that everytime I beat Alduin through a great campaign, I sit upon High Hrothgar and give this classic a listen admiring the beauty of skyrim. It's so cinimatic and is a fitting way to end a game. Thanks for all your covers and may the Gods watch over your battles friend.
Listening to you always brings tears of joy to my eyes. You hit me emotionally with your voice. Your singing has the angelic touch. I wish to hear more from so I can be continued to be moved like this.
I love you, Malukah. The sound is so beautiful. I go back to this when/after I get an hour or two of Skyrim. It's not the game that brings me back, but your sound. Once again, I love you M
Just came back to these 10 years later and still love them. I hope they have you perform some songs for the next elderscoll, your versions of the skyrim music are the true versions of this games songs in my mind.
+Unslaad Krosis I could see that. In the games, it's said countless times that Dibella is the patron goddess of the Arts, so it was most likely her that blessed Malukah with such an amazing voice ^w^

You're a living (Skyrim) legendary bard.
Dave Willis They did hire me to compose the music for the bard songs in Elder Scrolls Online! And I also wrote a song that ended up being the End Credits song for the game :) I have it here on my channel, it's called Beauty of Dawn... and also one of the bard songs I made music for, called Three Hearts as One! :D Thank you so much for watching!

That moment when you know of Malukah, and have known of her and her channel for like 3 years, but realize only now that you're *not subscribed*. Where have I been!?!?!
+AngelicApathy Yeah. Why so mad? I mean the world is a shitty place tbh. It's so damned imbalanced in favour of a minority that acts as if God-anointed and doesn't give a crap about the miseries and issues of common people. I guess it WOULD be awesome to have the Skyrim kind of magic at hand. Maybe level the playing field a little bit. Give the oppressed power. Maybe even revolutionary power. I doubt if hanging oneself or getting cancer even comes close to being magical.
I got obsessed with Skyrim only recently (a bit late?), and I'm still on my first playthrough. Discovering your covers on TH-cam really adds to the feeling of being immersed in the game! You have a beautiful voice, lady, and your passion for the series really shows in your singing. I especially love this cover, as the Tale of the Tongues is my absolute favourite song. I'm really happy that you actually got to compose and write for the ESO, they gained a gem. I've been listening to this cover over and over today, it's just too, too beautiful.
Francesca Sinéad Coscia it's not late at all, I first played this on ps3 and then as soon as the remastered version came to the ps4 I got it without hesitation and I'm still playing it. it's an amazing game. and she's a lovely singer

My brother got a mod where the opening screen (the load game, start new, etc) plays this instead of what it normally does. It also has a different background.
Oh cool. What is your background? Mine is the Dragonborn looking up into the sky with an axe, and I think there is also a dead dragon, but that is from memory and I am too lazy to open up the game to find out.
same
Ciara Olsen the mod:
Menu replacer, mist
Ciara Olsen got the same mod its great
i always imagine how this play in in-game credit, the scene where phaaturnax and his fellow dragon salute you
still here in June 2018
still grateful for this kind of support. Much love to you!!!

These songs are forever immortal
same
I love her voice
I remember watching this when I was 12, I’m 19 now, you should really remaster this song now.. everyone would love to hear this and brought back now :’ (
Bethesda, use her for the Elder Scrolls Six!
Realy ?!
+AdamCzysko Not only one several Songs (beauty of dawn ;Three Hearts as one and More )
Yep Lol
That would be awesome !!
Or if she were in the "remaster" of ESV, that'd also be cool.
Who's your favourite Daedra?
Malukahth.
Neloth: "BY MALUKAHTH'S TOENAILS, WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?!"
My fave is Sanguine, he reminds me of Loki.
My fav Is Molag Bal, We are very similar him and I, in ways I don't wanna talk about.
Molag Bal's also a bit of a megalomaniac.
my favorite is hircine because he is a badass i also really like sheogorath beacause he likes cheese and his artifact the wabbajack is really fun
Malukah, you've given a whole new dimension to the TES music.
I'd call it "fantasy folk music" and it's fantastic (no pun intended!). Thank you for being so talented, keep on going! ;)
I love this genre idea... Fantasy Folk Music. So cool! Thank you for watching and for your wonderful message!
so true.. you are part of the TES universe now!!! Have a great year!
lol listen to some heart
What I'm wondering is how is it not a real genre yet?
man... 12 years and i still listen to this song. Skyrim is part of my childhood
your thu'um is unbelievable. your voice spreads into my goosebumps
r00d
I agree with John, joshua is rude.
Joshua Engle yeah thanks for the reminder :)
Joshua Engle chill
Sweet song of Skyrim, sky-shattering thu'um.
Sweet song of Malukah, heart-melting thu'um.
Aal fin yolos kun nau ek sil, ahrk fin ven aak ek zul.
May the flame light upon her heart and the wind guide her voice
Sad, but true
Malukahth Daedra Prince of Music, Enchantments and Sirens! My favourite Daedra!!
Daedric* prince
Princess*
Tiago Kuster No female Daegra and Agera are also referred to as Princes.
@@tiagokuster4918 Daedra don't actually have gender; they just decide what they look like at the time. Either way, they are still called "Daedric Prince"
She should be a 10th divine 😂😂 Malukah, Goddess of Music and Talent 😍😍😍
"Skyrims sky shatering thuum." still gives me chills
she has the gift of the voice
Clearly an Imperial. No mistaking that Voice of the Emperor.
"Calms nearby people for 60 seconds."
(Voice of the Emperor is a Greater Power possessed by all Imperials, which allows them once a day to cast a powerful Pacify effect on all NPC targets within a 75 ft radius.)
(PS: This is by far the most powerful Pacify effect available, as it will work against enemies up to level 99, which is higher than any found in the game.)
Clearly you have not heard of the Pacify effect of death.
Well, Arngeir is level 150 and Miraak can be level 150 aswell.
Malik You need more likes x'D
Kolur Laxdal They may keep their likes, I have honor!
Coming from assassin, thief, cannibal, traitor, backstabbing, blasphimer...
Malik Hahaha x'D
Well, that's my fav type of characters.
Well, If u add In cocky & arrogant. Yet always successful.
Then u got my fav type of characters :P
your voice could put alduin to sleep
invisible t3n Hahahahahahaha! This is one of my favorite comments ever. :D
+Malukah thank you
+invisible t3n Indeed it could.
+invisible t3n !nailed it.
+invisible t3n Imagine her shout
2019 - 2020 I love you, Malukah!!
I don't know how much i say this but your a really talented singer.
HeroYoshi1115 You are very kind. Thank you!
Your welcome and you deserve praise for your amazing talent. You are kind as wel . :D
Ahh this is beatuifule
HeroYoshi1115 correction: gifted
Hear hear
I've been numb for months. Finally got past a big roadblock in my life and felt no excitement. Didn't cry, didn't smile, nothing.
Listening to this cover again brought me right back to my teenage years and has me sobbing. Thank you, Malukah.
I hope the days get easier as they pass! Keep your head up!!! ❤️ and thank you so much for sharing with me that this cover has helped in some way.
I’m so glad you were able to break through.
. Idk if everything in life was better 6-10 years ago, my life just got worse, or if I simply grew up. As a kid it was still rough but Skyrim was my escape and NOTHING has ever made me feel the same. Also Malukah DEFINANTLY went to Solitude to learn to play lmao
" And the dragons are gone." The hell they are! I can't go to five locations, without one burning or freezing my ass off! It's like open season on asses, or worse.
xD Same, tbh.
dragon season has opened, you may now hunt dragons, or be hunted that is xD
Juuzou Suzuya xD
Dawnstar seems like a dragon magnet, I sometimes even have to fight off two...
pretty much. I played skyrim around the time I played dragon age 1 and I was extremly dissapointed on how inflatious they used dragons .. like ..in both games... oh we don't know what to do.. here ..have a dragon ...it felt really uninspired :/
Even now, I can't listen to this without crying, thank you
I want a Malukah easter egg in The Elder Scrolls 6 with a reference to Skyrim
This song must be that reference, as this song is kind of telling the story of the Dragonborn.
The OST for Elder Scrolls Online has a song by her on it
how about a bard that plays lines from her song and is called Malukah
We just need a bard named Malukah, who's a female nord from Skyrim. It sings her songs. And yes, that would be tye best bard in history..
no, just hire her to voice some bards.
Malukah.
A name that goes by the Ancient tongie as the Daedric god of Beauty with the voice of a mortal, but the soul of a true Dovah.
The songs to those who tell tales of the mightiest, yet the most vunerable. Poorest, but the Strongest. The weekest, but the kindest.
The voice that enlight their paths to those who seek eternal peace.
Malukah. May Talos guide you trough your beautifull quest, and may he hear your songs to those who truely have faith for a real god(des).
tongue*
+Whiterun Guard I never thought that you would say something than "I used to be an adventurer like you, but then i took an arrow in the knee..." May Talos guide you to Sovengard
Now I need to boot up Skyrim again... I love it.
well done u wasted ur time
+potato talks he took the time to do it, so it wasn't a waste to him
She has the thu'um. Not of a dragon, of a goddess.
You speak the truth my good man.
ya true
May 2020 and listening to this still give me shivers.
Malukah, this is the first time in a looooong while that i have cried, and its because this song and the age of aggression/oppression are so beautiful! You should definately sing a song for the trailer of elder scrolls 6 or something like that =)
+I trane UFC bro I wouldn't expect you to cry because of your name and profile picture. But yes Malukah is truly amazing.
I heard she got hired by IGN and did some songs for ESO and Black Ops 2...? Wiki/Google it, but it is certainly possible.
+David Clapp The ESO one at least is true, I think I saw it on the album even.
Bethesda, for the love of god, hire this woman for the next game!!!!!!
I second the motion.
I think they did
She did songs for the online game
yep and they are amazing
oh yea voice of a angel and really love the genre... keep the songs comming
I got chills~
+Amber Francis
+Malukah bethesda needs to hire you and never let you go
+Malukah I hope to join video game making business someday and when that day comes I gotta get you to help with the music
As you guys didn't know obiously, Malu wrote the bard songs and most of the songs of Elder Scrolls Online, so Bethesda/Zenimax already beat you to it.
i didnt know that since i dont play tes online
I have to admit the line "for his story is over and the dragons are gone" brings a tear to my eye .
Must be time for play through # 27
Why hasn't Bethesda hired you?
I know right!
She has songs in ESO.
quick go kidnap a CEO and force him/her to hire her now!!!!
She was hired for Elder Scrolls Online's End Credits Song - Beauty of Dawn.
I mean skyrim
1K dislike , hmm must be thalmor and cultist.
Or Alkavhiri
no, I said to my pupets that the one who desliked this will have a eternal torment
damn faithless imperials
or dragon priest -_-
@@reesedavis5334 😂✊
I got genuine chills down the spine when you sang the first dohvahkin part.
Who still listening in 2024?!
Me!
Hail from Argonia
Drem yol lok. Greetings.
always getting goosebumps with malukah's songs :D
This is the greatest compliment. My favorite songs by other musicians have this effect on me, so it´s awesome to know you get goosebumps!! Thank you MoonWolf!
+Malukah well im glad I could make you happy malukah :D btw you are Good at these songs and you are an awsome singer never stop dong what you do :D
I agree, its sooo amazing :D
my goosebumps love you too ;D
it already been 7 years since skyrim release and 6 years this song came.... it feels like yesterday
Wonderful voice, wonderful music. Much better then the original soundtrack!
I recently got Skyrim, and it is one of the best games I have ever played.
Why so many dislikes? Even if you don't prefer a thing, you should recognize talent and passion. Malukah, thanks for performing so thoughtfully. You really bring the music to life!
Oh my,..
the remastered version brought me back to these enchanting pieces!!
After all these years, I still hear "Dovakiin? Fucking cool!" in the chorus. I know that's not what it says, but I can't unhear it.
you ruined it for meh... ;-;
polymphus fuck. you. 😂😂
i thought that was the way it was suppose to be lol XD
SAME LMAO
Relistening to all the covers after a few years
Loved these back in 8th and 9th grade, in 2018 and 2019
I'm a college freshman now, and I'm just kinda remembering what made me happy all that time ago
Thank you, Malukah, for giving me something to look back fondly on
Already my favourite minstrel song in the game... and this is definitely the best version of it.
The master of the graybeards!!!!!!
that voice is heavenly!!
TheThunderSlug Paarthurnax doesn't have a holy paenus
Wow. Just stop. Stop
I come back every now and then because she is the best guitarist and vocalist for skyrim! Her music is incredible!
Thank you so much for saying that!
@@malufenix You bet!
Omg i love this song. Skyrim has helped me throught many parts of life it helped with my social anxiety, and just general anxoeiety. An ode to skyrim
I love you, Malukah. The sound is so beautiful. I go back to this when/after I get an hour or two of Skyrim. It's not the game that brings me back, but your sound. Once again, I love you M
Thank you for the lovely message! ❤️
@@malufenix holy shit! Malukah replied! 🖤🖤🖤
Just came back to these 10 years later and still love them. I hope they have you perform some songs for the next elderscoll, your versions of the skyrim music are the true versions of this games songs in my mind.
Guys this is how aedra sound like. Especially Dibella
Dibella? The goddess of pimps?
Oh cmon!
+Unslaad Krosis dibella is just about fucking. I dont think that she can sing^^
Desync Singing can be seductive :P
+Unslaad Krosis I could see that. In the games, it's said countless times that Dibella is the patron goddess of the Arts, so it was most likely her that blessed Malukah with such an amazing voice ^w^
Almost 10 years, yet, still sends chill to my spine.
I've literally spent like a week listening to all of these covers... SOOO GREAT! :D
wilsburg961 Hehehe! That makes me happy! Thank you.
malufenix all hail the dragonborn!
malufenix these covers are amazing, your voice is too you have a true gift! i listen to these more than i listen to casual music xD
malufenix I never knew that women as beautiful as you played skyrim let alone going to the bards college in solitude you must have been the top student.
Damn! That'd mean you'd have to watch this video ~2880 times!
Everytime i come back and play this song gets played at some point. Legendary
Listening to this again in 2023 cz it's been years since I last touch Skyrim, still makes grown men teared up (a wee bit I tell ya), still gives me goosebumps even after all this years especially at the part 2:15 , 3:10 "And if Alduin's eternal, then eternity's done~" Thank you for this legendary cover Malukah. You're a living (Skyrim) legendary bard.
This gives me hope for humanity.
A Hero rises in the East.
god damn it i cant stop watching your videos over and over again !! i just find your channel you need to keep going girl !! your voice is AMAZING
Same😂
My first big adventure in Skyrim always continued with this as main menu music. Never gets old :3
She should get a job at Bethesda for singing songs for the next Elder Scrolls :)
Malukah Hope they hire you for the next elder scrolls, you are amazing!
Malukah Three Hearts as One was amazing, Malukah. I had a level 34 Imperial on the Daggerfall Covenant, but as soon as I heard Three Hearts, I just HAD to reroll to the Pact. My Argonian is almost max-level! :) Blood for the Pact!!!!!
Jason Amor I don't know about that, but Bethesda would be stupid to not add Malukah as a bard NPC in the next game. If there is a next game. If ESO didn't kill the franchise.
Verip I'm pretty sure I've heard her voice in one of the starting areas in ESO ;)
you are so talented everytime i listen to any of your covers i want to cry not sure why but im guessing its because theyre just that good
dallas coleman
Malukah ok you are gonna laugh but I wanted to say this I hope you can translate it "hin zul los med yahjol brit lokaalus" if u need the translation go to thuum.org
Malukah my little brother wants me to send u a fb friend request says "cause then we could be friends with a really cool famous person" i told him your friends list is probably full
dallas coleman it is supposed to say your voice is like a harp beautiful and lovely
Good
dude, i swear, malukah's voice should be used for the bards voices in videogames. Or any kind of sound in videogames like skyrim, and that game would be legendary just for the sounds
Goosebumps for me everytime I hear it.
Your voice is so incredible.
I’m still here in 2019 your such a good singer I love your videos
Thank you so much for still being here!!!
Hi

cant decide whether this or frozen sleep is my favourite song
That moment when you know of Malukah, and have known of her and her channel for like 3 years, but realize only now that you're *not subscribed*. Where have I been!?!?!
Hahahahahah! Zomoooooon! Are you now subscribed? Welcome to the channel! :D
Yea, I am now! Don't know how I didn't notice, to be completely honest!
Me Too... I can not believe T.T
For shame, child!
Lol not subscsribbed for 3 years
Yer songs make me cry. They are so good that when then end, I get really sad that I'm stuck in this world with no magic.
Malukah is the only magic we need
Holy fuck you are a nerd... "stuck in this world with no magic"
+AngelicApathy Lol a bit harsh, gtfo. this world is a piece of shit without the magic this person is talking about.
Why so serious?
+AngelicApathy Yeah. Why so mad? I mean the world is a shitty place tbh. It's so damned imbalanced in favour of a minority that acts as if God-anointed and doesn't give a crap about the miseries and issues of common people. I guess it WOULD be awesome to have the Skyrim kind of magic at hand. Maybe level the playing field a little bit. Give the oppressed power. Maybe even revolutionary power. I doubt if hanging oneself or getting cancer even comes close to being magical.
I am from Uuraina. I like your work very much. I played in TES for 10 years. Now I fight with real beasts
Now this is stronger than Thu'um.
Насколько приятное звучание, переплетение нот и нежного голоса. Больше спасибо вам Malukah😘
Francesca Sinéad Coscia it's not late at all, I first played this on ps3 and then as soon as the remastered version came to the ps4 I got it without hesitation and I'm still playing it. it's an amazing game. and she's a lovely singer
never to late
