    Hi! I’ve seen in other videos they use cotton and “remove polish“ From natural nail. She then “clips” The natural tip, “files” The natural tip, then pushes the cuticle back! Please let me know if this is necessary I didn’t study this part in school since I completed my hours 10 years ago

    • @GlamAndBeyond
      @GlamAndBeyond  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nail does not need to have polish, to avoid getting confused consider choosing one way of doing it , many train their students different and also make sure you are watching videos for your state every state is different. This is the way we train our students and it has worked for us. Thank you for watching 😊🫶🏼

      @@abbieramirez8809 while preparing the kit buff the nail if you go to the beginning of the video I believe I say that I don’t remember, buff or use a file over the nail to give it texture so therefore when you go to glue down the tip it holds well, also make sure you take a good glue with you .

      I’m sure it’s best to keep it on the table as much as possible , not sure if that’s something an instructor came up with but it’s not something it says it in writing on the psi packet (about not picking the finger off the table) we have never had a student fail the test for perhaps lifting it a few times . For sure I always recommend you guys here online to do what your personal instructor says and suggest.

    Or do we spray the table after they have checked our finger?

      Hi
      I’m assuming you are doing the cosmetology exam in Texas? If so..
      For that section you can use a finger like the one I used I the video or a mannequin hand. And correct you do NOT label the finger or hand.
      A trainer hand which are not acceptable most of them are brown and come with removal finger attachments I would suggest you google a pic so you know what it looks like 😊 your best choice is a plastic finger with a free edge like the one I have in video.
      As far a your primer . What brand are you using and what does the label say.
