I was away from snowmobiling for 20 years. I watched quite a few of your assault videos and ended up picking up a used 21 assault 850. I have 3 rides on it now. The first one was just playing around getting used to riding again. The 2nd was getting used to the sled. The 3rd ride I was getting after it and jumping approaches haha. I'm 41 now and my knees and back hurt the next day. Damn these newer sleds are awesome!
Welcome bavk to the community these newer sleds are night and day from 20 years ago they ride amazing are way more comfortable and just dkwn right fun!!
@@KotaBearTV I hear ya,hopefully we get hammered a few more times, but time will tell,I for one can say I’ll watch any type of video you post, love your energy!💯🔥 hope to see you around on yt for years to come
@@KotaBearTV i called multiple dealers the first hour after snow check opened. Found one dealer that still had a spot left to order a 146” 9r. I jumped on it. It shipped dec 23. Cant wait.
Yeah i had a dealer said they might have one so i didnt get one somehweres else they called mr back next day and said they were all gone by that time....
Man Kota I'm glad I stumbled across your account, you make some great content! That khaos looks nuts in that deeper pow! Question, what were your overall thoughts of the SKS you had a few years back, i'm looking to buy one! Thanks and cheers from NB Canada!!
thanks for the support!! depedning on how your ride i think the sks would be great its kinda inbetween a assault and a khaos basically assault will do trail better but the sks will do trail decent but still play off trail amazing!! in short between the assault and a sks for my style riding i want the sks all day long
So far so far so good road some trails today that were groomed not ice pack but pretty hard snow and with scratchers down temp stayed at 97 to 110 the entire time kinda runs like my sks did
@@KotaBearTV is the top speed the same as your sks ? I got a sks 146 and i dont know wich one to take the khaos 146 or the assault ? I love my sks but i want a matryx
Depending on how u ride and how much u love ur sks i would said go khaos 146 but if ur gonna do 40 percent trail riding then go assault but i think you will have more fun on khaos 146 and havnt hit top speed yet but i bet its about 10mph slower
Ride the same every year never have had blown motor could it happen sure but i also dont pin it everychance i get im just choosing clips where i am on it some who wants to watch me go 40 quarter throttle
We got 2 ft in Avon but not enough to open the trails. So unless you know someone with farmland to hit their fields you ain't doin shit. Supposed to hit Ft. Kent on the 16th but the trails aren't even open up there yet. Fucking bogus man, we need snow!
@@hermitrob5481 Cochran is more for trail riding. I'm sure they have some good off trail (I've never ridden there) but chic chocks is east coast version of mtn ridding. I would love to go to Chic Chocks and I only live a few hours from Cochran. If you like what he's doing here I would think chick chocks is more up your thing.
I’m an brp guy but exact that model from polaris is one of my dream sleds. Greets from Sweden 🇸🇪
