Camino de Santiago: Placing a cross at the Cruz de Ferro

It's a tradition on the Camino de Santiago for Pilgrims to leave a stone or another object from their homeland that represents their sins at the base of the Cruz de Ferro (Iron Cross), Foncebadon. The idea is to repent and leave one's sins behind. it's a new start. For my part, I used a wooden cross from Singapore that I made from pieces of reclaimed material. I hope that works, too.
