100% agree, the chassis is a must do upgrade. In my experience the motor mount was fine but I did bend the stock chassis and upgraded to a 7075 aluminum one from M2C.
i was hoping that you would land on the post again :D. This version of the truck with the 7075 and motor mount hopups, and with kraton's bumper, is what I expect traxxas to deliver for 800 dollars.
I love the sledge. It has became one of my favorite RC‘s. I never thought I would say that but it has. I like the chassis it just seems like it’s too heavy.
Do you have a side by side comparison / review between Sledge and XRT? Really like to know what you think and how you rate them side-by-side.... Which is best value for money?
Nice video! Thanks! 👍🏻 I love my Sledge and it becames fast my favorite RC-Truck! I have no problems with the stock chassis or motor-mount. But the tires are not realy durable, 2 of them are already torn...🙄 So I have bought the Pro-Line Badlands MX38 belted and I'm happy with the choice. The new chassis looks great! Do You need some longer screws to install it or do it works with the stock screws!? Greetings from Germany! Kasper P.S. Sorry for my bad english!
What's going on with the new chassis? Have you been able to bend it yet? I am waiting to see who bends the first justbashit or m2c chassis before I make my decision and purchase.. Great driving by the way..
What I don't understand with RC cars why are these cars so much money anywhere between $125 and $1,000 what you do a backflip the chassis Bend then they want to spend another $67 on a steel or aluminum chassis but you got to remember that stuff can been too the best thing in the world plastic you think it'd be a lot cheaper but still a plastic chassis is still $35 and what's the crazy part is you got to take the whole darn car apart pretty close so from anywhere from $125 for an RC car up till 1,000 for RC car you really can't bash them anymore it's you buy an off-road or you buy a straight car and you have to choose which one you want to buy and if you are going to buy an off-road be ready to put some money away because you're going to break or bend chassis my choice is to run three cars and just run them in the parking lot and pray that you don't hit a curb or a pot car because I can tell you this right now I got a four Tech Traxxas with a 15 nitro engine and it still runs like it's brand new yeah you know you got to do a carb clean once in a blue moon change the air filter once in awhile get some new tires get bearings once in a blue moon chains of carrots up a little bit but besides that still stock everything and I love that for Tech Traxxas 4 wheel drive belt driven same original body from 9 10 years ago so that's your option are you going to run Street and if you do run off road are you going to get two wheel or four wheel it doesn't really matter cuz once you do a backflip stuff's going to start pending and stuff's going to start breaking so be ready to Fork over some change

dang dude, u rough on the rig. respect. im actually headed to park now for a bash
Looks like the chassis is a beast but doesn’t handle in the air well as stock
Edit. It was good seeing other parts of the track.

Hi, does this aluminium chassis chip easy or is it a lot stronger?
100x stronger
Would it chip from stones flicking up? The stock chassis chips really easily, but if this doesn't then I'm interested in buying one at some point.
I don’t know how you can see that far
It's not that far. I think you need glasses my guy.
Some cameras always make things in the distance look smaller than they would in real life
The real question is how much total do you have to invest in this vehicle, and how much a Kraton would be equally equipped. BTW 1st
8:10 front chassis screws missing?
Chassis brace
