Out of curiosity, can we still use the factory Traxxas motor cradle, just without any mounting screws attached...so that the back side and base of motor will still be supported upon hard landings? I understand without mounting screws holding it beneath the chassis it will technically be able to move, but it should be solid based on its support from the new motor mount...I’m just concerned for the back side of the can during hard slaps...
This is a HUGE upgrade! Considering how junk the stock motor mount is. Tried and true motor mount design that has worked flawlessly on the Arrma vehicles. Awesome installation video Avery!

I have this motor mount on my Sledge - I just installed a 46 tooth spur gear and it appears I can't use the stock 13 tooth pinion. Is that true? Am I doing something wrong?

You have to buy separate...if this is for the Traxxas sledge
