I love my C55 I have 185k on it and 235k on my w210 E55, had the C55 since 140k maintenance for me includes a transmission, front end parts (control arms tierods) , valve cover gaskets, and a nasty limp mode problem that took the dealership a couple of months to diagnose, ended up being spark plug wires shorting out abs module, had to get that sent from Germany, 16 spark plugs, 16 wires oh yeah and that transmission went out 2 months later! $4000 later hopefully no more huge problems for another 100k or so. I got unlucky but I love the car too much to consider selling it.
I hope it lasts for you also man, they are sweet cars but like anything else besides a Honda or Toyota they will all need things all the time lol thats why I daily Hondas have the Mercedes as nice car/ if one or both of the crazy high miles Hondas decide to go down lol

you can connect phone on aux on radio . the plug socket is in the glove box .there are videos on u tube .you can buy plug socket from Mercedes its easy fit

Could you find out if could you display the AMG logo on your radio screen on Start up instead of showing the Mercedes Benz logo?
It's a straight forward procedure on the e class of this generation even non AMG cars can do it.

yo dude how do you get the mph on the dash ive got the same model but it only shows kmh
if you go into the convenience menu you can change it from kmh to mph

Doesn't seem to be 04:30am outside the car. Make a clip how to change the time on your car's clock, next time and keep your transmission on S mode, for longlife.
Tino Plaku The reason of doing so is to let the transmission shifting less times, correct?
@@mattmatt9971 The number of gear shiftings doesn't affect much the tansmission, comparing with the way it shifts. In Standart mode is not economic, but transmission shift very close to optimal. At higher rpms, car inertia harms less the transmission. In my personal ecperience with my w203, i never keep it in C mode when i drive in mountings. Anyway, everyone has its own one. If someone has mostly to drive in icy roads, Comfort mode would be necessary.
@@tino4414 Thanks Man. I agree with you. My volvo XC90 Trans jumped into Limp Mode when I climbing up the bridge in C Mode. That perfectly explained What you saying. Also Thanks to the infamous GE transmission Which makes it such a waste of such a nice car.

not sure what you are saying there, however if you are referring to it having the 7 speed MCT trans out of the W204 c63 that isn't true, its a 722.6 5 speed torque converter auto. I would know as its my car lol but to each their own. however I would be happier if it had the quicker 7 speed not this 5 speed slush box. would probably get better MPG with that trans also.
@@ALifeWithCars sorry bro I have the same motor kompressor c180 w203 model though and when I looked in the hand book it says 7 gears but I never count just go flat out beast of a motor.
@@paulnigel1977 ahh i see, so its a c180 with the M113 5.4 v8? thats what this car has its the C55 with the %.4 v8

thanks man and I hear that over the summer the Benz sat a lot and I live in the middle of fields so all my cars and house get covered in dust instantly lol

@@Thelil9 well thanks man! you will love the car. it will eventually have some issues but its worth the hassle lol, I will have a 50k mile ownership review I have had mine for over 3 years now and bought it with 19,500 miles on it and now it has 71,000 on it and I have loved it thoroughly! also going to have some tasteful exhaust mods done here soon! thanks a ton for watching and subbing!
