I think BMW is more reliable and less expensive to maintain. I am flabbergasted that there is no push button start on all the Benz models

Faty zad, you are not a very smart person. An actual GM pickup truck, yes a cow carrying pickup truck had those feature plus a few more ten years ago including remote starting even from mobile phone, ( which "Benz" still does not have) yes factory with factory level software security.

Apparently not.
Double tapping the lock button also disables keyless entry. Stops the key from emitting a signal. Handy to prevent relay theft

I once changed the template of a Ford vehicle and the guy at the dealership told me he didn't know that was possible 🤦
And it's just a test mode that doesn't stay fixed, they probably have the gadget to make it permanent.

After 6 Audi + 1 Volvo (I’m 70...) without any single problem. Even never changed a bulb lamp !!
I decided in 2012 for a MB C200 CDI w204. Big mistake !!
Water pump failed at 45k kms, 2 years, covered in warranty. Second one failed at 113k kms..... 451€.
Last July, clima system not working some times. After 3 weeks to detect the problem at MB workshop, they detected the problem was the SAM board module. 850€ !!! WHY ??? “Time,.... the car is getting old !!!” they said.
A Mercedes Benz too old in 8 years.....
All maintenance intervals observed in due time/kms at MB dealer facilities under programme contract.

Hi all im just wondering why my 2017 GLE 250 AMG LINE doesn't open and close the windows and panoramic roof when I hold the open function on the remote is there a function that needs enabling in the car or remote?? Any one no why its not working Cheers Craig

Haal eens de batterij uit de sleutel, en probeer dan eens te starten. Volgens mij start ie niet omdat de key geen signaal geeft. Nu doe je alsof de batterij van de sleutel leeg is, maar die is dus niet leegt en werkt nog steeds al een normale sleutel

I own a C-class and the car is so comfortable but i dont like the atomatic key that mercedes has provided to us because if the battery of remote dies then you cant open the doors unless you have a manual key ...unlucky that i didnt had one (manual key along with the remote key) .

Hi,if no batteries and we use key to unlock the car, how to stop the alarm sound?
How do you shut the alarm off when opening the car with the key when the key fob battery is dead ?
When You opened up the car with the key 🔑 only the alarm sounded and you did not demonstrate how to stop the alarm?

@@theRamboias the car has a battery to turn the alarm on. But you don't have battery in the key phob. I'm asking the same question for the alarm shutting procedure.

S65. Light years ahead with tech and drives beautifully. Even S classes from 15 years ago still have features most modern cars don't.
Its definitely ahead of its time. Distronic in !1998!, Infrared Nightvision in 2005 and so on

Did you know that Keyless Go can open windows too? Press the lock button on the handle, and then insert your hand into the handle and hold for the window to open.

I have a 2019 GLC300 that my husband surprised me with May 24th and my app DOES NOT UNLOCK/LOCK or AUTO-START MY VEHICLE ANYMORE RESULTING ME IN BEING LOCKED OUT OF MY VEHICLE IN THE WORST NEIGHBORHOOD IN NEW ORLEANS WITH MY LOUIS VUITTON 👜 VISUAL. And my firearm in the trunk. I HAD TO PRAY AND DRIVE MY COUSIN’S CAR AND AND HOUR TO MY HOME TO RETRIEVE MY SPARE KEY.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE NEVER CALLED OR CAME. IT HAS BEEN OVER A MONTH NOW.
MY APP STILL DOESN’T WORK PROPERLY. IM GOING BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP TOMORROW!!!!
Just had loads of problems with an SL63, someone stole the keyless go button, now I have a replacement, spare key 1 works, spare key 2 works but keyless go key, the one that will not fit in the ignition switch, will not do anything. After reading everything on the Internet, nothing to do but a trip to a main dealer. It turns out the previous owner gave me the key from a totally different Mercedes, and I should have checked the blade keys, which are different. New main key ordered from Mercedes now, I hope I can stop tearing my hair out. Second hand SL63 with only 4000 miles, how can anyone lose the proper key and give you a different one? That means there is another car with the wrong key somewhere. My fault for not using a main dealer!

Ähm.... when the battery of the key is empty, you can't start the car in traditional way by removing the start/stop button. Car won't recognize the key wihtout battery

Ik denk niet dat je de auto aan de praat krijg zonder dat je ervoor de alarm/start/blokkering uitzet. Je kan wel openen maar alarm en veiligheid system bkijft aan, dus starten is onmogelijk. Dit is mijn ervaring. Tevens goede videos👍

Hi, I'm getting a C Class next week and the car has the keyless entry and lock...but noticed there was no engine start/stop button. I'm assuming its been lost (the car isn't brand new). Can I just buy a replacement start/stop button to plug in?

Why do Mercedes not tell us these features at point of delivery. One of my cars got stolen die to signal enhancement !!!! I am now paying for the lost car with a insurance hick !!!!

Question. If you pull the button off, and need to insert the key, does that thwart the new thieves who are recording key fob codes and stealing cars? The physical key has a passive code in it, and looks like the button has the same one. Thanks.
