@@TropicalGarden you mentioned in the video that you used those fertilizers that 's meant for Lotus, would be NPK ratio be suitable? Since most of the once I've come across supposed to promote flowering in Lotuses
It is a trial and error factor. It works best for me as the one I have tried in comparison to other conventional fertilizer. Maybe you can try with your spare plants first and observe to see if there are a huge improvement or whether the plant stressed out. For me, in my experience and a few other gardeners who tried it mentioned that it really made a difference.
Hi. I need some advice. My black magic colocasia always has a long brown burnt line on its leaves before unfurling so when it furled there will be deformity. Second issue is the stems seems to be bursting and having rough brown patches on it. Do you think it's pest attack?
Hi Annie, Sounds like the plant is exposed too much to hot sun n lacking water hence the burns. I can't really tell much without looking at the plant. Burst stem happens when it received too much water - So, its not making srnse with burns n burst stem at the same time. My only suspect is the plant is not agreeing with the fertilizer that you might have used - over fertilizer maybe? Do try to water log it as it is a thirsty plant. Hope this helps.

Try looking for the tablet types for Lotus /Waterlily - any Thailand brands.
