I have the Ryzen 7 with 16GB ram and after using PC's for work since they were invented this one is by far the best in build quality, speed, display and battery life.
Well that was unexpected. A laptop review with literally every points covered. Kudos. Definitely subscription recommended to fellow comments readers. P.S your eyeglasses had some blue ring reflection that was lil distracting apart from that, great video
@Tanjiro Kamado it doesn't have a dedicated gpu, but the integrated vega graphics can run most games on 1080p low at 40 fps. Heavy graphics games will need to be run in 720p to stay above 30 fps. So yeah it can do light and average gaming, but this laptop is not a gaming laptop, it's for work or studies.
The sad part with these laptops is that here in Greece no one carries them anymore and i have no idea why, you cant find them anywhere anymore and i cant import them from Europe.
Thanks for great review! All ponts covered. Just wondering how it performs in adobe after effects? Im a graphic designer looking to ditch my thick and heavy acer nitro 5 for this one. New subscriber here
I am currently using it and it is weak, fo Ae. Rendering 5 seconds logo intro in more rhan 2 minutes. I guess this is because of the lack of GPU. I will return it. In premiere pro when adding one effectt like blur for example the rendering time is huge. The screen has backlight bleeding too and one of the fans makes rattling noise. If you happen to get good copy of the laptop it is ok excelent fot Internet and office but not for Adobe in my opinion.
Yes, it can. We tried 4K in Davinci Resolve Studio and it works just ok. It depends on the file type, on the codec. It is not that fast on render but it churns it.
Art student here, would those specs be enough to run the adobe suite (photoshop, Illustrator, indesign and premiere mostly) ? Or should i aim for something like the d14, which has an i7 with 16gb RAM (but is a bit more expensive). I gotta say the screen on this computer looks Amazing ! Great review anyways !
Update: i ended up buying this one with the ryzen 5 and 16gb of ram, and it's an absolute beast, i had both photoshop and premiere open at the same time without any problem at all ! Plus that 2k screen is really amazing ! I really recommend it !
