If I could do this song this way, I’d think I’d just keep doin’ it over and over until I died of starvation. I’ve only heard two versions that are clearly better. Those two guys went by Elmore and Hound Dog. Bravo!
Most excellent. Great guitar playing. What puts it over the top is the ballsy, well-delivered, in-tune singing. Sung well enough that there’s some even, well-controlled vibrato happening. You can hear and feel the conviction. I’d buy a recording of songs done this well. 👍

On a vacation in France I found a double cd of Robert Johnson in a book/record store. Love in Vain (Stones) is how I got introduced to Robert Johnson. Really into blues (BB King live at the Regal ,The Red Devils, and Hooker 'n Heat) as Ry Cooder at the moment 😊 Nice playing and singing. Slide on acoustic 😮
