MLS is not at the level of the big European leagues yet but it is so much fun to watch and the level is not bad anymore.
Comparable to the English Championship. Very fun to watch.
Only way it got better is bringing in many foreign players. In a few more years, it would be rare to see Americans play in their own league. Just like la liga mx now

@@Jesseg-rj6xf I don't think it's gonna be rare..because unlike Liga MX, the MLS teams give their Home Grown Players a chance to debut and play in the team. Mexico have won a couple of world cups in their youth teams, but what happened to most of the players in those teams??? They never had a chance to debut.

Name me one El Trafico that isn't entertaining. I'm so sad and disappointed that Galaxy didn't win, but I almost had a heart attack. It was THAT such an exciting match. MLS drama still never disappoints. I'm sure Galaxy will come back stronger.
Even a drunk LAFC fan told me after the game, if we would’ve had 2 legit DP wingers, things probably would’ve been different. Cabral & Costa out.
@@brendellsantos4528 Yeah our wingers are extremly problematic. Grandsir is kinda good but inconsistent in general. Costa and Cabral are waste of money, international slot and DP spot. For sure we'll be way better with new signings next year.

I believe MLS is one of the most competitive league out there. I have lost some interest watching European soccer, and watching the same teams winning the league over and over again. Here in MLS, you can root for any team and still be optimistic that your team can win the MLS Cup. It just doesn't happen in Europe anymore, you have to be in the "top teams" to have a chance to win a championship, and if you're not, well what's the point? That is why I love watching the MLS, and there is no shame about that. It's nice to have a local professional soccer team that I can attend to and support them, and not be in front of a TV screen watching a European team that I have no connection to. So give the MLS a chance if you haven't, you won't be disappointed!
The only way the sport grows is by people going to the stadium and buying the merchandise. That's how european football grew
as a european i actually love the mls, its one of the most entertaining leagues in all of football. if i could compare its excitement to any other league it would be the english championship, which is the league below the premier league. its just that the quality of europe is so high that it makes our fans snobby and unwilling to watch more entertaining leagues simply because they dont have any superstars

Saw the game Friday, too mesmerized at the time to fully realize what a spectacular sporting event this truly was...30 yrs ago seeing Eric cantona and other teams and players making British football fans go nutso..and never dreaming that we could ever have the same thing here in the States. Well now, we finally do, without a doubt the greatest sporting event in America , is el trafico- bigger than mls cup itself, and it keeps getting better. This Chicagoan truly does love LA

@imalexxmusic yes but they usually choke in the first or second match. This is the first time they’ve made it to the championship.. if they lose this one at home, with the better team, it will be the ultimate choke.. but Phili does seem to have some magic going their way this season.

Lo malo de eso es que no nos dan el beneficio del segundo partido en casa. El dinero está aquí en mexico y Estados Unidos. A los dueños de los equipos mexicanos es mejor el dinero que la competencia. Y pues ojalá no vallan a la libertadores los equipos mexicanos asta que se nos de ese derecho. Mirar fútbol en Estados Unidos es algo bonito, sano y lo mejor es no te preocupas de la inseguridad de gente que se dice ser apasionada que en mi punto de vista son inútiles. Es un deporte , si nos apasiona pero no para actuar como estupidos como los latinos actuamos cuando sabemos que si rompemos una regla no pasa nada . Being in the 3252 all season long, I was very excited/happy all the crowd was in with the chants. What I dont like is that yall waited this long to get in with it. Dejan Joveljić is getting so damn good hope he sticks around for at least a couple years before he sold to Europe.. puig is an excellent player as well galaxy should be really tough next year with a couple additional players brought in.

I am from Germany, my favourite Club is Ajax Amsterdam from the Netherlands... i followed MLS almost one decade... this Match seems to me like a home Match of the Timbers(sorry LA 😘)... loud... real Soccer Fans... beautiful! On the other hand it's like watching American Football in Europe... some experienced players who keep it up.... the defence is far away from the level across the ocean but maybe it makes it more interessting?! Anyway... Ajax Amsterdam... the most exciting story of Soccer in Europe: for the beauty of the game... MLS will grow! Btw... sorry for my English ;)

This is where true rivalry begins. Personally, I didn't take El Traffico seriously ever since. But now? I can say that the proper rivalry begins here.
2019 was the first **El Clasico del Trafico** in the Playoffs... and was a better game. More drama on and off the field. 8 goals scored. LAFC's first win over their Rival (and it was in the most important game). Zlatan got sent packing after that loss (losing the "Vela vs Zlatan" media matchup). Game was still in the balance at 4-3, until a late 5th goal. And if there was ever a Rivalry born on it's inaugural game, it is this one. Epic first game.
Calling it El Traffico is pretty funny. I would have called it the Derby of Hollywood.
