Zlatans debut was my first live soccer game. Missed out on seeing Keane, Beckham, Gerard, and Donovan but was excited to see a local derby regardless. We bought tickets before Zlatan was announced. Best $30 I’ve ever spent!!!

Growing up in LA I could remember my dad telling me Cienfuegos was coming to play here for LA. Then Landon and Beckham creating a pulse for Los Angeles MLS futbol. This is why I can't see no other. All those games with my dad in the stands. There is too much history and only one Galaxy.

Its exciting to see the emergence of the MLS over the last ten years, and i believe LAFC will play a huge part in bringing MLS to higher levels. The league just needs more investment not only in the current teams but in grassroots football, youth academies and integrating football into mainstream culture - kids aspiring to be like Zlatan one thing, but the American national team needs to make moves to help the league.
IAmRedherrings only thing LAFC will play a part in is showing the world how people in mls can jump on a bandwagon even though there was something for two decades in their own back yard but it wasn't cool at the time and the team isn't euro sounding enough..

Being good at football does not equate to passion. It's not passion when you cheer for a club you've watched twice that would be stupid in any league its just mindless cheering because you're supposed to cheer. And besides, they are not even cheering.

Yes, Sporting, Benfica and Porto are the biggest clubs here. Braga is growing, but I like more their rival, Vitória Sport Club (from Guimarães). Vitória have better atmosfere in the stadium and more fans than Braga. Check them out too.
