I saw Phoebe live in Tokyo at Zepp DiverCity yesterday for her last show of her tour. Holy shit. The moment this song happened was just a feelings you cant explain. Overwhelming and calming at the same time and that moment where the whole crowd is screaming at the top of your lungs splitting your eardrums, it feels like you are being washed clean of everything that has ever happened in your life.
Some lyrics like "If youre a work of art, im standing too close, i can see the brush strokes" (from ICU), or "Like a dog with a bird at your feet" (from Moon Song) are so poetic and clever, her lyrics are really clever.
I saw Phoebe two months ago in Portland and Arlo opening for Clairo a few months before that and they are definitely two of my favorite artists I have ever seen live
