Some of the back beat drum effects are the best and something I’ve not seen done since John Grant used the Siouxishe & the banshees drummer on his tour in 2019

The National gave a breathtakingly brilliant performance. I was just a few feet away from the centre of that stage (no moat) . Matt was on fire . The sound was spot on and they played for nearly Two hours nonstop. No encores. I have been gig going since 1973. This gig is now 7th on my all-time list. My favourite album by the National is the last one (2019) . They only played One track from it = Light years. I assume because no female co/backing singer. But it did not matter. They were simply sensational,

Plus much, much more including Joe Bonamassa at Cheese & Grain in Frome just before he went viral, his tour vehicles in the small car park were bigger than the venue.

He was an American tourist from Chicago with his family we met on a music walk in London . and we chatted over a drink in the King and Queen Pub (where Bob Dylan played his first ever gig outside the US in 1962) . A big Led Z and Rolling S fan. he wasn't too impressed with WA and Ellie . Of course I disagreed and I saw Led Z and the RS before he did !
there are just some songs that go straight into your gutts and deep in your brain, this is one of those, just incredible....music connects and touches you deep in your soul more than anything else I know. They must be so proud of this song

Every once in awhile I bookmark moments and places in time that I truly wish I could have experienced. Truly special moments in sports, arts, etc…. This is absolutely one of those moments I wished I could have been at. A perfect performance by a perfect band in a perfect setting. Amazing. Ellie a bonafide superstar now. What mad progression from the entire band. Mind blowing they haven't blown up more than they have over here. Then again many of my fellow Americans prefer entertainment over music. Some sad shit. These guys are next level these days.
Their aren't many bands like them around anymore. Bands that work and play. I thought the Foo Fighters were the last great rock band till these guys came along.
Best new English band by a long margin. They have cleverly crafted an eclectic sound that appeals to metal heads, electro poppers, grunge and alternative folk and people who just love dancing. With the Wolf you never know what's coming but whatever it is they appeal to a broad audience. They still need to play more from their two EPs and Visions of A Life which is their best album.
Once in 2015, I had the opportunity to visit London Gramar's concert in Moscow, but my flight was cancelled and I didn't have time for a full day. I 've been regretting it ever since (((their album of 2022 is simply phenomenal, and the videos for it is a separate art form. I love them
i didn't even go to glasto nor anywhere near there to see wolf alice but i always pray they made it to the pyramid stage with all the cancelation flight problem. and so glad they made it.
I met some people at Rock Werchter 2022 who didn't know who Wolf Alice is. They promised me to have a look. Looking forward to their postponed concert later this year in Luxembourg.
I played this at random. Was shrooming at home and completely and unexpectedly started peaking on the 2nd verse where she goes ..."thing you should be asking is for Heeeellp!" and the band and strings kicks in. This performance will forever be imbedded in that moment for me.
They're so dedicated that they made it over in time with all their cancelled flights, and probably performing on little to no sleep. They're so cool.
