Some of the back beat drum effects are the best and something I’ve not seen done since John Grant used the Siouxishe & the banshees drummer on his tour in 2019

The National gave a breathtakingly brilliant performance. I was just a few feet away from the centre of that stage (no moat) . Matt was on fire . The sound was spot on and they played for nearly Two hours nonstop. No encores. I have been gig going since 1973. This gig is now 7th on my all-time list. My favourite album by the National is the last one (2019) . They only played One track from it = Light years. I assume because no female co/backing singer. But it did not matter. They were simply sensational,

My top three are Free supported by Camel, Cambridge corn exchange 1978 my first big gig. Radiohead Glastonbury 2002 and John Grant Bath Forum Nov 2019. Plus much, much more including Joe Bonamassa at Cheese & Grain in Frome just before he went viral, his tour vehicles in the small car park were bigger than the venue.

He was an American tourist from Chicago with his family we met on a music walk in London . and we chatted over a drink in the King and Queen Pub (where Bob Dylan played his first ever gig outside the US in 1962) . A big Led Z and Rolling S fan. he wasn't too impressed with WA and Ellie . Of course I disagreed and I saw Led Z and the RS before he did !

She became fascinated over the fact that I was a Piscean (Old Soul) & said to me that she was about to embark on writing a song "dedicated" on my behalf... This story is only (partially) true... That of a Piscean bein' the oldest of Souls!!! 😀

Best new English band by a long margin. They have cleverly crafted an eclectic sound that appeals to metal heads, electro poppers, grunge and alternative folk and people who just love dancing. With the Wolf you never know what's coming but whatever it is they appeal to a broad audience. They still need to play more from their two EPs and Visions of A Life which is their best album.
Once in 2015, I had the opportunity to visit London Gramar's concert in Moscow, but my flight was cancelled and I didn't have time for a full day. I 've been regretting it ever since (((their album of 2022 is simply phenomenal, and the videos for it is a separate art form. I love them
i didn't even go to glasto nor anywhere near there to see wolf alice but i always pray they made it to the pyramid stage with all the cancelation flight problem. and so glad they made it.

The band got stuck in LA and only arrived in England that morning, so they were probably jet-lagged as hell and tense from stress.
