Great vid. I've been using your Hammerhead in my recent playthrough and I must say it is a very good ship. Thanks for putting all these hours in designing such great ships 👏
Wow... You must have gotten some good cold meds. You were talking 3 times faster than normal. Share if you care. Anyway. I shy away from tool or mining turrets these days. I get a bit flustered when I'm in a turret and bad guys start shooting. I tend toward hard mount now so I can stay in the captains chair for quick getaways. Good episode. I still like learning new tidbits. Thanks for what you do.
Great episode, as usual, I have started playing empyrion myself recently, and I have discovered underwater in akua is a good source of both promethium and pentaxid, if a little annoying to scout around for the rocks
2 things Started playing like week ago when my co-worker mentoined that game to me and I decided to give it a try. Those 20€ were worth it. Today I got my first Capital Vessel (it's template I found after a LONG search I found some suiting my needs, I mean your hammerhead ship is amazing built, but for my big multipurpose SV what I need either, big hangar or big landing space, it just won't cut it.) As I said I found ship what meets all my needs so I am very happy I managed to find that last Sathium bits I needed for my CV, it's very low cost one and great for starter CV. BUT FINDING THAT SATHIUM WAS PAIN IN THE ASS (I wasn't lucky enough to have gas refinery in my walkthrough ;-;) Another thing is GOLD METEORITES are very thing. I think it was around winter planet you fought those Zirax vases I guess? I was like "Wait WHAT- THAT'S A THING?!" Either way this game is pretty neat, live every but if it and I still figure things up. I am preparing my CV for lift off and getting done with missions in Elyion system, hopefully will leave soon and explore huge galaxy what game is offering :')
Spanj I sure hope you found a different way to park your utility HV I did not see it attached to the bottom at the end of the Video. Great series man!!
How much coffee did you have before you started this video. I thought I had boosted the play speed cause you were talking a mile a min =) Thanks for doing all that you do for us.
In light of your experience 😂 think it's important to note that docking SVs and HVs to the exterior of CVs doesn't expose them to enemy fire. They become invulnerable to damage (except from base attack bombers for some reason) and shots will pass right through them and hit the CV. Even if the CV's shields go down, or blocks are destroyed, the docked ships will still be safe until you undock them.
mmmh - the egg thing made me wonder - if you kidnap a raptor on your ship, when does it despawn or is it yours forever -- could you be the alien 'cow' kidnapper like in the real early video game, going from planet to planet kidnaping their wildlife (pnch every animal in the game challenge like) . (had noticed they can follow you onto ships now, or at least the ant like things could)
It would be handy if it would stay with you. But as soon as you get in the cockpit the ship goes "transparent" and the raptor will just fall through the ship to the ground underneath.
me being comlete noob, got a cv come warpy christals and just warped not understanding the warp/chrystel mechanism...completely underpowered cv stranded in a hostile system searcing for warp chrystels and loving it
@@Spanj im loving it, no more allies just the pursuit of warpy christals im at 16 atm and got a couple of neutral bases i think i can take. tldr im going full rogue:) killing everyone i trhink i can take for those warpy chrystals
I wouldn't mind a similar series for Reforged Eden (maybe as spoiler free as possible) just to help people wrap their heads around the, arguably, better version of the game.
As much as I like Alien planets to have this green atmosphere, I wish they weren't achieving it by making the sun itself emit green light. I know it's an arcade game, not a hard-core realist simulation, but we jumped into this system specifically because it was a blue giant. I would expect to see a blue star emitting blue light. In other words, I would like the lighting in playfields to depend on the planet and on its star, not just the planet.
I'm really struggling to play Empyrion anymore. For some reason it really hammers my GPU since the last update and my computer kicks out ridiculous amounts of heat and fan noise. I really wish I could roll back to the previous version. It's truly bizarre because it can run anything else without complaint. -- Totally misread task manager; It's my GPU that's getting hammered. I'm pretty sure my 3080 should be up to the task of running this :/
Another great episode Spanj! The game has improved a lot in the past few updates since I last played. I am glad to see Eleon keeping this game alive.

Not another cliff hanger! :) Thanks for the video. I hope all is well with you and the family and have a great rest of the day.
looking forward to you having to explain Ol' Gerry
Love watching and listening to you. Great video.

I had a lot of coffee XD
Now I remember those memes with "Aluminium vs Aluminum" it's hilarious XD
My guy had written "Aluminum" but read as "Aluminium" XD

Can you please show how to assign color to cargo containers names in the device menu

yeh its up on the wing ;)
it would be very useful to hear from you information about what awaits me beyond the horizon
Love the empyrion videos, but im ready for another Avorion playthrough. Maybe with a focus on merchant/station based economy
How much coffee did you have before you started this video. I thought I had boosted the play speed cause you were talking a mile a min =) Thanks for doing all that you do for us.
LOL, yeeeeeeeh may have had a really strong coffee before this one XD

That little green blob is not the pirate clans lol its the tresari :)
Enjoyable!!
As the planet info screen hinted at, watch out for the radiation on alien-type planets!
Also, are aluminum & platinum used in crafting yet?
Hi Spanj!
Like your Content VERY much ;)
On Empy though ... Is MP worth it for any experience?
Thankee ;D
Love your videos!!!!!!!
Ummm, looks like you left the miner behind? Last seen on the Zeta planet, or did you dismantle it?
nope, its up on the wing :P

what is "Defense drone" under the misc tech tree? thats not the ship/base drone bay
No its the drone that goes in the bay

Did you touch the aluminium, platinum, ... to get the Token?
I dont think I did, good point!
Hammerhead have no hangar bay. That's why Volos is much better😁
Does someone know what ship is in that thumbnail?
Thats the Skaar Nemisis
@@Spanj thx
I'm genuinely surprised that the desynced(invisible) ships is still a thing in the game. 😔
It happens less often now but yes, generally only on multiplayer though
em i bilnd or you lost your hv ?
xD
