I can’t wait to make this. I have a couple rolls of jelly and a couple rolls of pretty vinyl and I have not yet figured out what I wanna do and now I know exactly what I wanna make. Thank you so much.
What a great video. Such a beautiful bag. The way you attach the top band is so clever and looks like it adds strength to the bag. I also LOVE your binding method. Never seen that before and I know I will be using it in the future.
Can I ask what machine you are sewing on? This looks like a Juki, and I just got a Juki TL 18QVP, but it does not like the clear vinyl. I would love to know what needles, other supplies and tricks you might use. Thanks so much!
You have a good eye! I sew on a Juki 2010Q. I think she sews vinyl very well. Although, TPU vinyl can stick to the table sometimes. Nothing a little lifting while I sew, can’t fix. If you plan on making lots of bags, I would highly recommend getting a “thick fabric” throat plate. The hole size in the plate is a little larger for bigger needles, which reduces friction and skipped stitches. I’m using a teflon foot and microtex 90/14 needles in this video. The stitch length is around 2.8-3.0mm. I sew at a moderate speed, not going too fast in order to allow the machine enough time to make its stitches. (The friction with vinyl can sometimes slow down the timing.) Hope all of this helps!
What a beautiful bag! Thanks for sharing your tips. Do you using an industrial sewing machine? Did you find the thickness of all the vinyl to be difficult to sew? Your machine appears to handle it very well.
Thank you so much! I use the semi-industrial Juki 2010Q. My machine has no issues with the vinyl as long as I have a Teflon needle and don’t make too many extra stitching holes
It’s 3.0 mm on my Juki TL2010Q. Over the thicker seams, I may move to 3.1 mm. The goal is to not perforate the vinyl to the point where it can tear itself off. Hope this helps!
@LoveYouSew One more question... what is the length and width of the exterior band? Is it the same size as the interior band (Qty 2 x 20 1/2" x 2 1/2") or is it wider for the vinyl? Thanks!
Dear Love You Sew, Hope you are doing well. I was analyzing your TH-cam channel . I am really impressed by your videos but your TH-cam channel has some issues. You have made many videos but your TH-cam channel is not getting views and subscribers. Because you have no complete SEO any videos, no channel tags, no video tags, no added end screens and cards, not SEO friendly title and description. If you complete all tasks then you get more views and subscribers with monetization.

Wow thanks for sharing! This definitely adds a professional finish.
Perfect bag for summer trips to the pool, lake, or beach! Can’t wait to try this.
I just grabbed the pattern and I can't wait to make this!

Have fun! I went crazy buying all the vinyl and had to develop this for all of it! 😜

Thank you so much! This binding method is great for boxy pouches too. Glad you enjoyed the video. 🥰
Beautiful job❣️🧵🪡✂️

Instructions were great! Finished one today. :-)
Great to hear! Thank you. ❤
Hi, I just came across your channel. I love this bag, can you please tell me where you purchase your vinyl? Thank you
These are all from www.zippervalley.com!
Beautiful bag. I love the clear bag. The tote pattern on your site is this tote bag pattern for the vinyl bag done on the u tube channel ? Thank you
Yes it is! Doesn’t it look completely different in the jelly and clear vinyl?

Nicely done.
Thanks!
Love it!
Very nice!
Thank you so much!
Would you share what stitch length you are using? It looks longer than a standard stitch length. Please and thank you!

@@marybethbellardini7187 It is exactly the same as the instructions. Thanks for checking!
