Great techniques shock when you throw your hook your pivot your lead leg is it susceptible to leg kick because the leg is pivoting and isn't able to counter leg kick in time

Does the angle of the elbow matter? Should it be 90°?

I think that you want it to be 90 for a close hook but more than 90 if your opponent is a little for away.
