8年前の映像なのに、他のメーカーはモデルチェンジしているのにマーチが今と全然変わっていない。
海外ではモデルチェンジしてるのに、日本市場には投入しないのか？
ひょっとすると、日産はノートが大ヒットして年間販売台数普通車1位を獲得したので、つぶし合いを避けるためにマーチを見捨てたのかも知れません・・・。
ちなみに似たような対決でミニバン対決もありますがそれも「日産」エルグランドだけモデルチェンジされていませんでした
この中で完全にフルモデルチェンしてるのはスイフトとフィットぐらいじゃない？

I love it!!! Kudos to the person who translated it. The foreign cars - VW and Fiat are equipped with more upscale engines, this makes them $10K more expensive. The Passo has a 1.3L variant. The Honda needed better tires to keep up. The Nissan needs a tad more work all round, but dead reliable and fun. Suzuki needs more engine to keep up with the chassis.
Oh trust me, a base polo would be shit, this model however is upmarket compared to the rest, dsg, turbo and "sport" tires really deliver that selling point of vag cars, not even complaining but not one japanese manufacturer has anything close to this, toyota is trying but at the end of the day, their yaris is still rooted in its cheap plasticky roots, good cheap car, rather excellent for saving money, yet only if they tried to sell something that isnt a mess of grey plastic from the inside, id buy it in a heartbeat
in terms of fast gear changes in this price range, the VW DSG dual-clutch gearbox is practically unbeatable. i believe that and the powerful engine was what gave it the advantage over the domestic japanese cars

@@tanaka90 I’ll stick with my 2008 polo 9N I don’t have to worry about turbo going bad even the older models would've given the other Japanese cars of pretty rough time

wow, English subtitles list VW Polo's MSRP as ~$22,000. In the US, I purchased a 4WD Golf SportWagen for $21,500 before tax.
It seems like Japan pays a heavy import cost.

They where Mona. Like explosion engines where breaking all the time and the first disc brakes where uneffective and unreliable after their introduction.
Things are very different right now. I guess the CVT is going the same way. First models where far from impressive, but those transmissions are now used since a decade in numerous asian cars that have very good reliability reports. What do you think ? @Mona
Does the Polo being $1000 more expensive and far less reliable and less efficient than Japanese city cars in the same segment sound that impressive to you? It doesn't seem the market agrees with you.

That Polo has turbo. Turbo > NA everytime. You don’t want naturally aspirated after you’ve driven a turbo car

SINPURAIN パッソはともかく、ミライースは廉価車種ですからね。でも、スタビライザーは付けて欲しいですよね。
一昔前はね、今はムーヴの廉価グレードでもスタビライザー標準装備ですよ
前後スタビ付いてたソニカを思うとこの年代の車は酷すぎ。2016年以降の車はマトモになったけど
