It can definitely help build strength over time. As for changing the size/shape that's harder to say but typically you will see a thickening of the hands as they get stronger. Good luck!
Hi. How many sets and reps per workout a day, how many times a week ? If you are very motivated, like I am, for real, fast, strong progression. Thank you.
Hi Dr Cobb. I did these exercises and really hurt my thumb applying too much pressure on the finger spreads. The pain hasn't eased at all after around 2 weeks even with gentle movements at a manageable range of motion and speed. It also feels a little swollen in the trapezium bone or at the proximal end of the thumb's metacarpal. Any recommendations? I understand there are A LOT of factors that go into pain and there are no magic bullets. But it's even painful tying my shoelaces daily, so anything that might help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Thank you! These are amazing. I was a massage therapist for almost 20 years and never knew about these exercises! I need these!

Massage your fingers and hands with coconut oil. This is very basic thing l do to relieve pain. I hope it works for you.
