I love how the best tanks to counter Mei, are not the ones that can kill her easily , but the ones that can run away from her or at least survive until help arrives. OW1 Mei was even worst for tanks.
This is why Mei is my Main (any time I'm not playing support)
Kiriko used to be a decent counter against Widow until they nerfed her passive of being able to catch bullets aimed on her head.

I Think its worth mentioning that widow can counter reaper as well since the can pre aim for his head during his shadow step
Problem is that good reapers are almost never going to shadow step into a widows sightline, using natural cover and doorways to hide

Gotta add mei and Moira to the cointer for genji. Mei slows you down and makes you an easy target and Moira's attack cant be reflected
Also Symmetra since her turrets also slow you down and her beam can't be deflected.
Here's something very important to know, hooking Junkrat as Hog is very dangerous because you can just hook him and kill him then he either kills you or your team thanks to his passive, so you want to be alone and have more than 200hp when you hook him, also Bastion is without a doubt the easiest counter to Pharah, also I cannot believe you didn't mention Brig as a counter to Tracer, she's literally the anti-dive, and all the supports you picked for her are just the ones who can run away from her, that's not what counter means, Brig is literally the only counter for her
If you die to junk rat passive you’re just being an idiot at that moment even as a hog with less than 200hp just walk backwards it’s not hard to avoid brig is also not as “anti-dive” any more due to a lot of her needs and changes and without stun on shield bash tracer can just run rings around her bastion is not necessarily the easiest counter for pharah as most pharahs are pocketed when playing pharah and due to her aerial movement 76 widow or sojourn are arguably better counters as they can kill her faster or keep up with her movement whilst bastion has a larger hit box and is easier for pharah to land bigger bits on and he lacks the movement to kill her if he just dips in and out of cover

I feel like a few good picks for some instances were overlooked but its from my own experience. One of Sym's hardest counters tank side is Zarya. Not only do the turrets give zarya free charge, but bubbling mid fight forces Sym to stop shooting which causes a lot of problems for maintaining her damage output. Also, against Souj/Soldier, Brigetta is a very applicable counter. She has the mobility to stay out of LoS to get to them and using proper shield flashing can make the fight practically impossible to win. She can boop soldier out of his heal field if she's looking to kill him and she can cut off jumping Souj's the same way.
Brig is not a counter for Soldier/Soj, maybe in Bronze/Silver but smart players gold and up will stay out of Brig's range like they're supposed to. Moira handles them much better than Brig
@@ubergamer2010YES. As a Soldier main and sojourn user, you just go backwards😂. You can easily run or dash back and kill briggite anytime. To be killed by her she needs to play the corners and catch you offguard and it would still be hard.

Surprised you didn’t mention junk as a mei counter. He is great at breaking her wall, going over it if he needs too, and he can burst her down so fast she might not even have time to ice block. Even if she does ice block if you put a mine and trap on her ice block she is toast.

Doomfist is a good counter to bastion. Just punch, power block and then punch again. He will either die or have wasted his recon form on trying to kill you
As a Bastion one-trick, I can confirm that this tactic works fine unless 1) the map doesn't have a lot of natural cover and 2) the Doomfist sees their health drain, panics, and flees, which is what I see often among low-tier Doomfists.
This combo is basically a dumb move if said Bastion has been damage boosted in any way (Mercy's secondary fire, Amp Matrix, Nano Boost, and Discord orb. Kitsune Rush technically counts as a damage boost, since it increases the firing speed).
@@Diz_Y that’s true, it really depends on the player, but my experience so far as a doomfist main has been good with countering bastions:)

With Ashe you don't have to worry about tanks to much if there's a Tracer use torb to kill her and defend back lines

Allow me, Mei's best counter is soujorn. A good soujorn can slide away from the slowing freeze ray or straight delete her if she spams and rail gun before mei can react with her free out of jail card of a kit.

I love how all of these are "in theory" counters. If you main any of the characters you know they don't actually counter in practice lmao, genji counters junkrat and cassidy. Im a genji main. Seeing either of those characters are the first people I put on my "braindead player boutta die" list

I feel like these guides should be relative player levels instead of trying to do broad statements. Like Winston is an extreme hard Genji counter at lower elos and the poster child of this is Moria who can rip through most DPS pre diamond.

So, basically... As far as tanks, go... D.Va can literally counter almost every single DPS character, and this video confirms that. Which is good, since I'm a D.Va main.

I mean no offense but some counters make little sense. For Genji you didn't recommend any Mei, Symmetra, Zarya or Echo that can simply ignore his E and even recommended Roadhog that is a champion that can easily be countered by Genji when he's ulting.

The strongest counter to Pharah in the game is Echo, not the hitscans. A skilled Pharah specialist is used to playing vs hitscans and can play angles and knows how to avoid / kill them. You can't do that vs Echo, it's like a Mercy with 24/7 valk uptime is chasing you, except she is also faster than valk Mercy and cant be outhealed, Echo burst dmg is no joke at all.
Your only option is to keep concussive blast at all times and only use it to get away from Echo when she tries to commit and then you pray the other DPS kills Echo, cause as Pharah, killing Echo is not realistic at all, she kills you too fast and is way too hard to hit with rockets.
Reaper can counter bastion because reaper damage is high and he can heal him self, also bastion hitbox is big

That's completely untrue, it works you're just doing it wrong. I've destroyed many a DVa mech with her beam but they NEED to be 50% or below
@@ubergamer2010 I know how Echo works and the beam size slightly increases and makes a different noise if the enemy is at 50% or below, it doesn't do that with DVa mech or Orisa when she's gold

I’ve got a couple hundred hours and had to see if I was missing something ab countering banzo. I’m not. His hit boxes are just busted. Everything else is fine. Him. No.
Dude, nothing more effective to counter a Genji than Mei. They have nothing to deflect and he's pretty easy to follow with the spray, they just freak out,; and if he's on ulti you just have to cryo-freeze until he's out of it and they'll be pretty much dead seconds after.
This must be an old video. Hog doesn't counter much now.

Even after his "nerf" Genji is still a bane to every sniper. Unless you have Arrge's aim Genji heavily counters Ashe, widow and hanzo. Not to mention, you just need to wait for soldier to pop his rockets and there's not much he can do against a Genji.

New to overwatch and the most annoying characters so far are genji reaper and tracer...tracer being the worst and reaper isn't that hard to kill hes just annoying every time I turn around that bastard is floating behind me I played one that was literally crouching in the bushes waiting for my team to pass by
I like to get a torb turret for tracer. Takes a lot of space away from her and she is forced to deal with it before she can focus you. Put it somewhere it covers you when she flanks.
