I genuinely find it crazy how people say genji is broken when he has one of if not the highest skill gap between ranks of any hero. You won’t have a genji in your games doing anything like this. Unless you match necros ofc

I’m new to overwatch started playing when overwatch 2 came out and from what I know, genji is one if not the hardest hero to play/master the skill gap is especially high, this gameplay is actually hella impressive.
He is the highest skill gap in the entire game since ow1

The trick is knowing where the whole team is before you ult
probably has like 240 hz and a 150ms reaction time
Bro this gameplay makes me so happy, i recently started playing genji and i practiced for hours and hours and kept dieing every game in deathmatch and i tried and tried but i got destroyed especially by tanks like(roadhog) but after a few hours and a few rage i finally managed to be able to beat a few dps characters in a 1v1 situation

I'm tired of people hating on Genji saying he's broken. Yes, he's better now in this 5v5/Stunless format.
But he's got a crazy high skill gap and still has strong counters. People aren't upset that he's good, they're upset they can't brainlessly stun and kill him (and Tracer and Sombra) with half the cast.
Now that people actually have to think and can't just 1-button kill heroes, they want characters to be nerfed to shit. Foh
genji is absolute op hero now, literally 0 counters and even a bad genji can be a pain in the ass because of its mobility, just spam jump and shift and ur doing enough

Second lets say your playing soldier, everytime i fight genji as soldier i shoot to bait deflect, then rocket him and finish him off without much trouble. People are just mad they cant pick cassidy and chuck the flash in is rough direction then fan 1 shot combo lol
@@banaanipuukko he gets countered by: sombra, zarya, sym, occasionally echo, Winston, mei, Moira (debatable but fuck Moira anyways), pharah, honestly any beam. He has a huge skill gap/requirement and if you keep dying to a bad genji that's a skill issue bud, I don't make the rules

Sombra is really the only hero that I genuinely despise. She’s not fun to play against at all.

he explained it once on stream, he dashes up and sees where the enemies more less are and predicts based on what he remembers where they are going to be after he makes a 1st kill, so he dashes instantly to the next target

notice how in most plays, hes either pocketed by mercy, or nanoboosted. behind every genji is a god support that doesnt get anough credit

I really want to be good with Genji but the projectile speed of the shurikens are so slow!! Keeping track of where everyone is isnt too hard but dashing perfectly on them so I don’t have to turn around so much is a little challenging. And I don’t want to mess up my aim with zen.

Finding your perfect mouse sensitivity + dpi and practicing 180 dash resets on the Tracer for hours and you'll see results
I think it clicks into you as soon as you start piling up hours on Genji. Not even a lot of them, just around 20 and you would already have good experience of navigating through enemies one after the other.
