Thx for the info with the gaps etc. However What I don't get sometimes I still get killed by the dva bomb even if I behind the wall. I feel like I need to hug the wall to not get hit. Anyway I'm the most unlucky person getting Killed by a dva bomb. It seems wherever I am I still get killed by it somehow.
About Hanzo's Ult: As far as I know, there is actually a tiny gap in between where the arrow disappears and where the dragons start, so it would theoretically be possible to not get hit by the arrow or the dragons despite standing directly in the path of the Ult. I tested it with the bots in the practice range.
I remember standing right in front of a hanzo once as he was ulting and meleeing him to death lmao.

I think that also applies to defense matrix so you can be right infront of Hanzo to eat it, either that or my timing was just off

Another new one is Reinhardt counterpinning resulting in an actual pin instead of both Rein's being stunned (look up "Lh Cloudy -new charge bug explained")

Yeah, especially in the early days of OW beam-based attacks seemed to be very bugged. There was another similar well-known glitch with mei, where she could cryo and still have her beam of ice flow out.
I remember that one because I got killed by it.
I saw another interaction where Symmetra’s wall killed Junk tire. I don’t have a link but it was on Numbani. Pretty crazy stuff.

had the monkey ult charge thing happen to me on eichenwalde bridge and i actually got a little above 90% out of it so i had two primals in 15 seconds. that was before the 10% ult charge nerf on all heroes happened tho

POV: the year is 2016 and every “new” thing that you find in OW is super cool, like genii climbing walls, or a bastion spot.

loot boxes don't sell the higher lvl the average player becomes, cause they'll have more skins than they want, making overwatch non-profit/low profit, therefore making them losing or not gaining as much money as they could with the workers they're putting onto overwatch development, the new players/lootboxes being bought mainly pays for the servers, so that's why they're hyperfocusing on pve atm, so they can make money

The stun on stun thing is actually due to ROADHOG hook having priority over shatter. Hogs hook is coded so fucking weird but it's been like that since launch. Go ahead and try it you will replicate it everytime.
It needs to be. The hook is hard displacement. It need stun you first to bypass any other CC: then it tethers and pulls you a fixed distance

I think hooking the lamp happens before the lamp activates, during the frisbee phase. Once it hits the ground and starts to rise, it is no longer hookable. Someone should test that.
So, in regards to the weird "Draw" interaction at number 1. I had a weirder, but amazing thing happen in competitive back in season 10-13 (can't remember exactly) where we weren't at a checkpoint or anything, we were at around 10 meters from checkpoint 2 on Blizz World and somehow both teams managed to push the cart to the EXACT same point by the end of the final round and it ended in a draw. It was so crazy and such a good game overall. Every lost it at what happened.
Sadly I never recorded it myself.

The stunlock changes that created the stun cancels have had some really weird interactions. The worst was when CC in blizzard would make you immune to even the slow. I remember multiple scrims where a Rein charge grabbed someone for a split second, the Rein gets flashed out of charge or killed, and the frozen enemy just walks out like nothing happened. Haven't seen that happening in ages, but honestly never considered testing if it's still in the game.
I got the Hanzo one once! A Bap was standing on the other side of a wall healing his team while not moving and I headshot him through it with the ult. It tilted him off the face of the planet lmaooo
I once got shattered by an enemy Reinhardt, then Doomfist charge punched midair to cancel the stun. I then countered with my own shatter and it got POTG. One of the strangest (and most memorable) moments I've ever experienced in my countless hours of Overwatch.

The sad thing about the brig on dorado was that it was part of a deciding game in a tournament series where we got snowballed off that bomb
Regarding the Hook: It is BECAUSE of the anti-cheat system that it occurs. Unlike other games where we send our actions to a central server, which then plays all the inputs to it's version of the battlefield and then tell us the results, all our actions are relayed to all the other game units, who then individually play out the game and then send the server the results which are relayed to all. Because each of us are at different timings from the server, each of our games is slightly different with an average consensus being ruled as the game and relayed as the result. This is why we also have such a hard player limit, this would be too unwieldly as a result. The upshot is that no-one can use cheats like shooting through walls and such, because that cheat is only working on one of the twelve users. But that's where your hook glitch comes from, a necessary concession/consensus of twelve points of view.
LMAO I always refrence the clip at 5:11 when talking about old roadhog, but I could never find the clip again. So glad to see it here

I don't think karq tested the first situation correctly. In Super's clip the game ended when overtime timed out because they weren't touching the cart. If there were time on the clock the cart would have moved the fixed distance after capping regardless of whether their opponent contested or they were there to push it, but because it was in overtime, and they weren't touching cart, the game ended before it could travel far enough to reach the goal. In karq's demo he was clearly touching cart on the end screen.
I agree. I think what happened in super's game is that both teams c9'd while the 17.5m animation was still going (as the both made it to the destructible doors), and for some reason as a result the opposing team got credit for the full 17.5m anyway. As a result... draw.

Orisa is another hero with similar ult charge mechanics as the Reinhardt clip. When Orisa ults, during the time it takes for her to place the bongo on the ground, she gains ult charge. You can usually get around 10% ult charge by hitting the ult button, and dealing damage with her primary fire as her bongo is being deployed.
That roadhog hook flying across the map is just insanity, i couldnt even be angry

5:30 This Roadhog bug happened to me too before but with Junkrat’s bear trap. My hook was stuck on it and wouldn’t detach.
I got a dragon headshot kill with Hanzo a while ago on a genji who dashed to me (probably to deflect) and he got headshot. I never saw it happen again and I didnt even knew it was possible before that. poor genji

Actually the person falling after the res ended after the buff was fixed, now the person will stay floating and then they have a change to use their ability like a pharah to escape death
I remember the genji roadhog interaction. If you timed your hook while genji is casting his blade there is a rare interaction where genji gets infinite blade
Getting ultimate charge while your ult is out also works with Orisa if you perfectly time an environmental halt kill with placing her supercharger
I know it's not an actual game, but flats also did the monkey ult charge one in a jayne video a while ago, where he had to carry low ranks in a custom. along with this the same happens for grav, if you grav enemies onto a wall causing them to fall off the map after grav ends, gives ult charge too
I have a rare moment myself from a long time ago when mercy's new valc came out. I remember flying in and rezing while shatted and flex backwards while shatted across the map with even more speed I flew in with.

My favourate moment like this, was that i once accidentally killed a blading Genji as he dashed at me, with the arrow from Hanzo's ultimate.
talkin about gaining ultimate charge while ultimate is active: samito back when Echo first came out was playing her on volskaya and drop sticky bombs as soon as he copied and after it wore off he had 30% to his next duplicate
i feel the devs of ow are watching all of karq's vids so they can make sure none of this happens a second time

I was able to Gengi deflect a Hanzo dragonstrike back at the enemy team one time. Both teams were SO confused because we didn't have a Hanzo and they didn't know the Dragonstrike starts off as an arrow.

Rare interaction I was expecting to see as #1 having a Ana and Baptiste on your team and at least one of them heals their team
so the hanzos arrow being a actual arrow during the start of his ult, not sure if i still got the clip, but it was first point hanamura and i decided to throw ult that way and i figured with all the fire going through choke, there would be someone hiding in the corner on the left door flap on attacking. i managed to score a tracer headshot because there was one there
The rarest overwatch moment is getting some bitches
so the stun on stun interaction to stand up from the shatter is definatly interesting and something i only saw once, but the shatter has been super weird in forever. in my about 200hrs it happend atlest a dozend of times where people just stand back up, or i hit them point blank without anything inbetween and it just misses, but on the otherhand i sometimes shatter a phara or doom out of the sky. same with the charge, you can charge through an entire team in a reinhard sized hallway and not hit anyone but at the same time you can black hole suck in someone from 5 meters away

I have been that Pharah getting rezed over the well and dying. I have had literally exactly that happen. It was hilarious and I wasn't even mad. xD
There have been a few times where ive been killed from DVA bombs when i was behind what i had thought was cover. Had a weird interaction last night with a Reaper. He teleported and once he got to the other side of the teleport. Within a single frame he had turned a 180* and killed our soldier. I still have that game saved. And i am scratching my head
in all my time of ow ive deflected the hanzo ult once. not a genji main so 1 time brings me great joy
There was a clip on noobhunter years ago where someone got a double headshot with 1 Hanzo dragon arrow. Never seen that b4 or after

Another extremely rare occurance is getting CC'd during orisa's fortify, mainly rein pinned or roadhog hooked
There's gaps like that on Busan Mecha Base, at the top of the stairwell to high ground where the mini is, managed to get a bomb - shatter 5k using it in a scrim with my team.
I've been able to break roadhog hooks like that second one pretty consistently, never seen any of the others tho
One of my best moments was as genji in lijang (gardens i think. Like the one with the circle gate) where I deflected a hanzo ult and because the hanzo was pusing on his own i acc killed 3 other players behind him as well
I knocked off two tanks and a Lucio with Primal Rage and came out of it with 70%.
