This song was my introduction to Trivium and I must say it set a standard for Trivium going forward. Are there better songs? Yes. Are there worse songs? Yes....but this is the song that opened the door initially. The solos are effin' sick on this.
Nolan Void this is song was too but in a more unique way I had a friend of mine tell me this was the lamest way to ever get introduced to a band but I think it's quite funny on the PS2 version of The Sims they had a freshly licensed music in the game but translated to the language that they speak in the game, Simlish Well... Like light to flies was in the game but it was in simlish and it was the first thing I ever heard from Trivium and I was in love LMAO I think it's a very funny way to get into a band hahaha
You make some inferences that later Trivium is better because they became more skilled as they got older? I mean, it's true to an extent, but Ascendancy is home to some of their most technical material.
