Dr Hannah got his medical degree at Miskatonic University, and read too many forbidden books, and is now possessed by a spirit of pure chaos. Dr Hannah was the best thing about this episode! :D
Don't forget the two semester's worth of medical practice he had to undertake at Arkham Town Hospital and Asylum, that was a stressful time. Especially when the patient ranting about Yith escaped for two weeks.
I have to admit, I normally don't care one way or another for Felicia Day and I've never understood the hype around her. In addition, as much as I want to enjoy role-playing games, I don't. But I really enjoyed her Dr. Hannah role-playing antics throughout this game! Maybe there need to be more mash-ups between European-style board games and role-playing games?

So, having heard about Dr. Hannah, Zombie MD elsewhere, I wasn't sure what to expect. Seeing her faffing about is actually pretty fun, from the outside, maybe frustrating for Wil, but it actually brings up a kind of strange dynamic with your players. Some people like theme and story, and others like rolling big numbers and doing fun stuff. This game actually kind of caters to that by giving roleplayers the humans, and giving mechanical players the zombies. Day should've been a human, it fits her personality more; but it might be happy coincidence (or maybe deliberate behind the scenes) that she was a zombie instead and we got to see how board games are as much about the players as they are the rules. Nothing (that I am aware of) stops her from letting one of her zombies stumble around turn after turn, so this behavior helps the humans while Day has fun goofing off.
Noah Barr I found something similar: Dr. Hanna was a nice handicap for Wil's team so the humans stood more of a chance. Sure, Wil rarely wins, but Dr. Hanna was an amusing gap in the rules that limited how many useful zombies Felicia could use to be helpful.
Under any other game mode, you would be correct... but since it's a scenario which requires gas/keys... the second part of "Just what I needed" allows you to look through the deck to find ONE item pertaining to the scenario. In this case, the keys.
Ryan Suddeth Sounds super OP for survivors but I guess it meant to counter a situation where all copies of one of the objectives is at the bottom of the deck.
I agree it is a little OP, but I think the game makers had to do that because there are only 2 sets of keys and 2 gas can in the deck normally. I'm sure things would have been different if they didn't have Jake Cartwright. Jake's ability is a little OP, since he gets to draw 2 cards (and keep one) when he searches which allowed them to find the items they needed, faster.
i just thought of something, couldn't thats just what i needed make the player check the bottom 10-20 cards so it doesn't break the game when its drawn in round 3 but still functions as protection of unlucky bottomcards :)?
14:00 The card clearly says that they can search the DISCARD pile, or (if there isn't one) draw a new card from the top of the Hero deck. 14:29 Wil lets them search through the Hero deck for anything! They cheated to get the keys!!

So nobody has cheated :D Unfortunately i am from germany so i probably will never get a chance that the two women will say thank to me for fighting her honor :D Greetings!
There's having fun and then there is blatantly breaking rules. The zombies have a very important rule in the book about their movement. They always move towards the closest survivor.
