Yes but companies don't engineer coolers for all cards. For example they slap rx 6600 coolers on rx 6400. there are 2 slot, 3 slot rx 6400 on the market for this reason.
that's what happens when you push for hardware instead of optimization. a clunky mess with a massive die that needs a condenser to cool below 900c and a power supply that needs a 50 amp outlet.
The creators of that mini pc had custom RTX A2000 with single slot and for the 75w from only pice its not that much to cool. It could be interseting what could be done at this tdp.

This is the equivalent of taking a 3070 2fan 2 slot cooler and putting it on a 600w gpu. Like a massively overclocked 4090. 30w cooler on card that need 75w cooler
In msi afterburner there is slider that is responsible for Max Power draw, you can reduce that one to a point where it's fine and undervolt accordingly

Modular graphics cards would be cool but only if memory could also be changed out. But I think it would complicate pricing and mess with potentially max performances in the end. But still a cool thought. 🤔
They already did that I think around 10 years ago, even releasing 2 GPUs in a package. But it seems not many people is a fan of having dual GPUs installed in their PC, and they just get back making single GPUs again
I work in entertainment, and we have systems that control massive video walls, that run anywhere from 4 to like 40 GPU's. They all must be single slot, low profile, and less than 75 watts. AKA... most of them are still running GT 730s. Or in the good ones, they have the WX4100.

I feel like this is a very niche thing for a large company to fill. I think they should focus on modularity and selling kits for stuff like this instead of spending all the money to make the means of production for these cards. They already have the parts they could just put them in a bag and sell them so you dont need to buy two graphics cards.
well since there are some universal air coolers and waterblocks that do fit a lot of cards there shouldn't be to much trouble depending on the card in swapping factory coolers from one card to another.
For those who are saying that this is harder to do with a big boy graphics card cause of the heat it puts out your 100% correct buuuuttttt you can buy your own copper block and either have a someone machine it or use home tools iv done it before. I even snatched copper lines from other coolera to be able to send the flow to the radiato fins i made going away from the block
OR... take a 1070 Katana (the last 1-slot GTX) or take ANY Founders Edition GPU that has only one row of slots, cut off the second rib, and watercool the card. Simple as that.
UserBenchmark lists the RTX 4060 as being almost 200% faster than the Arc A380. That kind of speed equals a tremendous increase in heat generation. So yeah, while this type of thing might work with a mid power card like the A380 it’s just not possible with a high end card
I always wanted to use different gpu coolers for different cards, like as much as I like my XTX, I would love to have an EVGA ftw3 cooler on it, too bad that's a lot more difficult than swapping coolers for smaller cards
I love eta prime. I always have a fascination with extreme small form factor builds. I made a few of them and he has been super helpful. Im honestly annoyed at how ive been sleeping on intel for half height builds because amd and nvidia really shit on their low tier cards.
