    Tieguanyin (specifically Cloud Mist Iron Goddess) and Duck Shit Oolong are my faves 👌🏻

    A Taiwanese ruby oolong I tried was fire 🔥 I need to expand my experience with other oolongs, trying new ones is my favorite part!

    I buy something called Milky Oolong in the tea store I go, it doesn’t have names on it, it just says that it’s from Taiwan, but it’s very good, kinda milky and buttery in smell and taste, but also sweet and floral.

      @@user-xr5cz2mr4v real milk olong is very good but some cheaper ones just add milk powder to oolong tea and call it milk olong. maybe that is what you had

    My wife’s aunt is a tea farmer in Taidong, I’ve got some 12 year old oolong they sent to us in Canada and love it! Too bad you’ve already done your Taiwan trip, I’m heading there in July 🤷‍♂️

    Mine is just called Taiwan Ginseng Oolong, $40 a pound and tastes really nice and looks exact to the Oolong in your vid, I got it from a tea store called WingHopFung

    You gotta try Japanese oolong, I found one on the budget end but that has the Japanese balance and leans deep into almost savory flavors.

    i tried to order from you today from the Netherlands and ended up choosing to buy a tea table from a company in Europe instead because the shipping would have been 40€ from you. sad, because yours was better for what I needed it for. of course, I also get it, because business is weighing out what even is possible and not digging yourself into the ground by expanding too far too soon. I'll be patiently waiting for when I can order tea from you without paying double sales tax! :)

      Try that the shipping was so much! I don’t have any control over the shipping price. But I am planning on opening a warehouse in the Netherlands by this fall, that will make your shipping much cheaper 🎉

    Jingxuan is my go to when I want calm and relaxation. Tieguanyin always brings me back to my childhood. Dahongpao is like the new poster child of oolong these days but not my favourite

    When I first got into tea I bought a fully oxidized oolong and loved it so I bought a bunch more oolongs and they were all lightly oxidized which I did not like nearly as much. Sad times. They were still good though!

      Exactly! Once you know what you like you have a lot of options, before you know the differences it’s hard to pick the best ones

      @@urusama6039 I’ve only tried a milk Oolong which I did enjoy, I even got my dad drinking it he liked it that much but I do agree with the flavor being subtle. Which Oolong would you recommend to me? I’m looking for something like a milk Oolong but with a stronger bolder flavor.

      @@snehalkrishnan618 oxidized oolong is quite different, its tart and almost reminds me of raspberries. I think milk oolong is pretty unique so if you like it stick to it. But you may be able to get a stronger flavor with scented milk oolongs where there’s enhanced milky flavor. A pinch of sugar can also do a lot for tea that you need more flavor out of.

    Oolong is just like puerh but its fermented before packaging right? they taste very similar to me but I love them both and havent tried enough variety to discern them.

    All of your teas have been amazing! I then got adventurous and ordered some Milk Oolong from China and it smells like old (possible rotten) butter 🧈 popcorn 🍿 oil… tastes that way too. The seller says it’s a popular product, to me it tastes horrible and smells worse. Anyone have any tips on milk oolong, both varieties I bought tasted bad.

    This is much more a “me problem” doesn’t effect anyone else however, I haven’t encountered a tea brand yet that doesn’t look and even smell like “hydrated” urine.

    Very green Dong Ding. Jin Xuan brewed fast and over ice.
    Not really into the roasted, caramelized notes of other varieties. I'm simple. 😂
