Brilliant story and well done Matilda! My nerves were frayed with it being so soggy out there, you did great👌🏼 I’m on here too at 15:16 Lee in the grey Honda doing a terrible start 😂🫣🫣
@@matildariverwaldennews haha it’s all good experience!I had the handbrake on and got a ticking off from the start line Marshall as he was trying to move me into position🤣 🤬
Viewing from America, motorsport seems much more respectable in Britain. I love classic British cars. I’ve had a Morgan +4, a Triumph Herald Convertible, a Triumph TR6, and currently a Lotus Type 54 Europa. Good show!
Well done Matilda and Mum, fantastic video! It was amazing to see how calm and self assured you were with such little experience of driving! 🤩 And well done to the event for having an Introductory Class for you and Maureen to take part! No stopping you now!!! 😊😊🏆🏆
Wow, that was so much fun. Your Subscribers are so so proud of you Matilda, well done. Looking forward to your next sortee. And of course well done Maureen too. You look the part too in all the gear. 😎👍👍👍👍
Wow. Kinda damp, Very good drive sweetie. Bet your mums proud!! Very good for. A u toober 😂 2nd gear is your friend!! Say hey to mum. Proud of you🌹🌹🌹❤️
Well done Matilda Lot's of instructions and many things to remember, you were excellent and you'll only get better and better. Next you'll be driving in the British Touring Cars inspiring others into motorsports
I wish 😢 it’s all too expensive now, but this gives you a chance to compete relatively cheaply, you have no chance of winning in a 1 litre but it’s great fun 👍😃😡
Car racing, Matilda is a adult now has picked up her very first adult bad habit, cars. It's not the worst bad habit you can have, it's not like buying boats or a gambling habit. As a Christian I approve of this vice.
Cars are indeed the vice of the adult and yes, I suppose not the worst one. But also not the cheapest. Especially the younger adult has a love for cars. I'm almost too old for sports cars now as I'm 36. But back when I was in my teens and twenties I lived for cars. Nowadays I'm just happy to drive around in comfort in an old diesel Mecedes. 😄 The British roads are so bad not much point in having fast cars now because nobody can drive fast with the potholes. But when I was young I had Toyota AE86, Toyota Supra, Mazda RX-7 FD3S. I still have one AE86 away in storage shed. I been meaning to get it out and maybe sell it. They are good little fun car.. even though quite low power. Only little 1600 16v twin-cam. Puts out all of about 123 bhp. Pretty much Japan's answer to an MkII Escort. But a bit updated with fuel injection, proper suspension, disc brakes etc. And of course, the important thing the limited slip diff as standard for drifting. I would love some day to buy an AMG C63 maybe. 6.3 litre V8. I like big V8 brutes of engines. Prefer naturally aspirated power, don't like turbos. It is sad that in the UK in a few years fuel cars will be a thing of the past.. no new ones can be sold after 2029 I believe. After that you will only be able to buy new electric cars. I hope I get an AMG before that.

I stalled 3 times on one start 😂 my mum was on top of the hill she said a woman was slagging me off saying “I’ve driven too work faster” 😂😂😂😂😂
