That was really heart warming to watch. Well done mum for being a brilliant mum and creating the memories she'll never forget. First off you are lucky to have somewhere to start driving That said. Nice to see no boasting , just what you were going to do and how you did it on each run you did One up for you Little Lady. Yes you were very good. . There are the world Rally’s to do and the Paris to Dakar Rally
Unfortunately the days of being a wheel person for Bank jobs and the Italian job through Italy and the drains are not called for these days

Kudos to you both! The best drivers all learn how to drive a manual shift because you learn how to actually control the machine! Your mom has the perfect sense of humor for what is a very stressful experience for the teacher. Well done Mom! Have a great time! 🤠 (I have wondered when you would learn how to drive.) Great fun! I wish I could have learnt to drive like that. My parents never owned a car and neither could drive, so I had to go to a driving school and be taught by a stranger.

You are doing good. I like Mum's advice about releasing the handbrake against the clutch bite .When you are on the road do this at every stationary stop, gradients can be deceptive, and this method looks very professional.

@@matildariverwaldennews Sorry, I had no choice in the matter. it was for work, drive it or be sent home. I do not care much for electrics, with their crazy regenerative braking. I am an old school bloke, petrol, Diesel, stick , auto, if you want, but my favourites are pre selector with gear operating pedal, or semi automatic with no third pedal, (a bit like your Princess). Cheers for now. (Yes , 0210 in the morning, just got in from work).

Starting off in a manual car is the hardest part. Your original instructor didn't help getting stressed when you did something a bit wrong.😊
Nice tail slide at around the 8min mark! And you got better and better from there.

She continually helps you but sometimes I think you can learn more from a professional trainer. I'm not disrespecting your mum she seems like an awesome lady.

women in sports in 2024 is highly sorted by major companies like formula one and has lots of extra government support, like in college courses or apprenticeships or, things like a company funded or government funded schemes,
so if matilda wants to be a sports reporter for bbc, she will get the job immediately, because most females don't have a major interest in racing rally cars or gt touring race cars,
when you compare men and women in the uk car scene or mechanical engineer, a very small percentage is women,
so companies like ferrari in F1 or a lead sports analyst reporter in bbc, a female F1 car race driver is in very high demand by companies like ferrari etc,
the reasons why has to do with something about politics or equity and equality etc, and explaining the reasons is very boring and complicated,
regardless please take advantage of this before other women start realising these job opportunities, just try and get the jobs before other women apply, meaning if the female race car driver jobs get too overcrowded, that doesn't work in your favour,
don't forget when you apply for a position, tell the company manager, for example F1 ferrari has 6 drivers, 5 men 1 women,
you have to make the F1 management team feel bad , tell them it's not fair they only have 1 female driver, and they will be forced to either fire one of the male drivers or they will add you as a 2nd female driver to their team,
for example if you made a viral video saying its unfair they need more female drivers, and F1 ferrari seen the video, this will work in your favour and they'll be forced to give you the job,
this is a very big opportunity and you really can fast track your career purely because of it being 2024
