i like the beginning where there just standing there yelling at each other, it feels like 2 writers bickering trying to figure out why there not dead and end up with fuck it aliens.
Well, they are dead. If you pay attention, the writers gave you several clues to pick up on that. But I guess some people are just too slow to even do the most minimum amount of critical thinking.

I know it sounds crazy, but look where they are, I have a crazy therory: The Moon is playind dead - like the necromorphs do - and all that fight never have happened. At some point of the game, the other moons influenced Carver, Ellie and Isaac to see what they wished to see, they going after the fanatics to stop the awakening of the moon, they made them imagine a fantastic fight. And then... there they are, fine, not a scratch - remember that Isaac has a wound on his face? not there anymore - and their weapons has all their ammo, and armor is undamaged. From the Middle to the End, the Moons were already using Ellie to arrive at Earth while the Tau Volantis Moon played with their minds, time enough to awake itself and to play dead, holding them both, preventing from alerting earth about their findings... It is just strange that they miraculously survived that fall with a moon falling over them.
If someone buys the IP from EA they make a fourth game one day it should be issac and carver making a desperate attempt at stopping the moons but it’s hopeless already from that final cut scene. No way Earth survives that.
The only "possibility" is the Moons being extremely impressed by Isaac and Carver to the point they "offered" him a place by their side - of course, by forcibly turning his conscience into a moon itself.
i hope they remake the 2nd and 3rd too and sort out the 3rd ones story majorly... DS remake was really well done i hope they continue the winning streak
@@wowno5763Dead Space 1 was amazing, but the remake was definitely necessary. It polished over everything, except for a few things like the endings? They were worse in terms of quality, but overall. A big win for EA.
@@Nothing-of2pm nope. The original is a perfectly great game on its own, we dont need a whole ass remake for a few slight improvements. They should use those resources to either remake the one that would actually benefit from a remake, or just make a new one.

It makes no difference, these games come out regardless. I've never understood both ends of the spectrum, raging out because one end prefers the original and the other the newest entries. I grew up on the original trilogy, and the spin-offs and the films and novels and more. But I'm not a prude, and I can buy something to play it and always return it. For what the remake was, I enjoyed it. It wasn't able to perfectly capture the original's energy but it did just enough to finally reignite interest.
Unless EA continues the story into DS4 after they do the 2 and 3 remakes (hopefully), we can safely assume that this is the end of the franchise: Everyone dies.

The only thing I don't like, isnt really the story or dialogue. But the fact that earth is fucked. So all that hard work for nothing? Isaac and everyone throughout the whole franchise, went through all that shit for nothing? That's hella depressing. Without this dlc, the ending for deadspace would've been even more grand. Especially since the marker signal eliminated, the brethren moon, eliminated, and isaac and carver accepting their deaths, while earth is saved. It was kinda a bittersweet ending, and it was satisfying for this universe. These conclusions in most media are a terrible trend i noticed. I do wish that writers nowadays would stop being scared of including a "happily ever after", ending. You can still have a happy ending and a masterpiece. In fact, I feel like happy endings leave more of an impact on me. But for some reason, people hate happy endings, but get pissed when an ending is predictable. Happy endings are so rare, that if it is included, it would be so damn impactful, and unpredictable, and really separates itself from the more true to life tones, by actually have the plot amount up to something meaningful and also happy, it allows more aspects to be shown. But now, almost 99% of media almost always include a non satisfying, bad unhappy ending. Not only that, but bad unhappy endings opens the way for more sequels. I don't get why people are so scared when it comes to having a good ending. It's not that riveting, bad endings have always been in stories. We don't need everything now to be depressing, switch up your plot and have it stand out from most other pieces of media. Most endings are just setting up for sequels now, and then will ultimately have an unsatisfying lame ass ending to that as well.

Nah. It's one of the few things 3 did right. They aren't actually moons, they're the congealed dead of previous worlds and it answers the Fermi Paradox.

Bought DS3 on Steam for $5. This DLC cost $10. So I said fuck it, I'll just watch the story on TH-cam instead.
