@@fragboxcorals I don’t think any other big reefer channels have done an NPS tank. Or if they have, we have not gotten many updates on how it’s doing! I’d love to see Fragbox try it out!
I have a predominately softy tank that has to come down as well. The softies are great but they grow SO fast and then your dealing with warfare. I just purchased a used reefer 250 and plan to do a mixed reef myself. Would love to see a mixed reef reefer from you guys.
I prefer a mixed reef tank with Acros in different kind of colours, Montis, Acans , Flower pot, Torch, Hammers, Scoly, leather, zoas .... That would be my dream of a reef tank
Tia's right definitely classed as invasive any coral that has to be constantly pulled out to avoid it taking over and crowding out others is the very definition of invasive..i won't keep them anymore for that very reason over time the population reaches what i call critical mass where they instead of putting their energy into growth put their energy into Allelopathic attack in a bid for total dominance, seen it happen to people many times over the past few decades of being in the reefing hobby it reaches a point that not even carbon etc will help
