- Here's a video of And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope, by Ne Obliviscaris, for Czarcie Kopyto pedals. I have recently become an endorsee of this very fine pedal company and I'm very proud to show my first official studio play through featuring them. In my opinion, these are the highest quality pedals on the market, and for me, have the best feel of any pedal I have tried. 8:16 the regular 4/4 beat mixed with blastbeat is just epic. Super creative and sounds great.
Is a 12/8 blast beat, the left hand on the snare and the pattern of the right hand is making a pattern of 12/8 with triplets.
Already a minute into the video and I'm extremely intrigued by your footwork!
Edit: And just everything you did in this video basically
If you dig that footwork. You should check out Thomas Lang or Benny Grebs footwork.
Thomas used like 9 pedals in some of his old solos.
And Benny did a very similar duel hi hat pattern to the one we see in the intro Tom beat.
When you think you are good at the drums, just look a cover from this guy and see him use about 15 drum tricks you didn't even know existed
No one compares to him. In every way his drum parts are perfect and they hold emotion in the music unlike any other drums I’ve heard. Neo, black lava, and vipassi all are unbelievably unique bands and a lot of it is because of Dan and how interesting his drumming is.
Thanks for your work, Dan. I keep coming back to this video along the years because it's one of the best things I have seen and heard in my entire life. You and Moffett are probably my favorite drummers. He's got the tempo and you got the poetry

It's amazing how Dan can put the right notes at the perfect moment!!! Most drummers I watch don't get so creative and clean at the same time. Fantastic.
How had I never heard of this band??? I just LOVE it. As a long time DT fan, I love progressive music which blends all styles but remains focused on progressing from soft to ballsy stuff. This is one step further in terms of extreme metal, but at the same time you guys keep it super clean, the compositions never seem too clogged like is often the case. The virtuosity is kept where it should be, too, in subtle touches. I could basically copy/paste this comment on every single one of your videos. Absolute instant fan here.
The levels of creativity in this guy are just insane. We are talking about a guided tour on metal drumming, every fucking song.

The control you have over your limbs for different sections of the song is incredible! Especially that part at 7:30 where you have the hi-hat playing quarter notes underneath the kick and your hands. Makes my head hurt just watching! I can't watch it enough times
