  • This 1989 Chevy S10 blazer was only $250 and it came with most of the parts needed to restore it. It’s been sitting untouched for 10 years now, watch as we get this thing back on the road!

    Beautiful!! I have an 02' tan on black Blazer zr2 that I paid $3k for 4yrs ago & she's got almost 300k miles on her with no rust down here in SE Tx., still looks & drives like new.. Garage kept.
    She actually runs better that my Wife's new car! That 4.3ltr engine is a beast. I love that color

    I'm 2:03 into the video and I already see something that you did wrong, You can't put Body Filler over Smooth Bare Metal, The Bare Metal has to be scuffed up in order for the Body Filler to stick to it, if not scuffed then the Body Filler will crack and start breaking off probably within a year or so...

    Over time how does the puddy hold up?

    • @DavidStirm
      @DavidStirm 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It looks like it would be wrong but it's a very thin skim layer that will be almost completely sanded away like 90% of it will end up on the floor. That's actually the way you want to do it. That's how you get that extra smooth paint job.

    my god that's pretty. I have an 85 S-10 Blazer in central MN and I'd love to make it look that good. before this video I thought mine was rough, but you made a gem out of a prettier vehicle than mine. anyone know what that would cost a guy to have done?

    Those fender flares ruined this. Also painting that air dam below the front bumper will make it look terrible within a year of regular use.

    Ok now I’m no expert so if I’m wrong and you are a professional then by all means correct me but in my personal opinion he used a little too much bondo...

    • @DavidStirm
      @DavidStirm 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      90% of that filler will end up dust on the floor. He actually did the bodywork absolutely 100% correct. That's how you get a good paint job doing it correctly lol 😂

      @@DavidStirm Sorry but No the way he did it was Not 100% Correct LoL, If he had any Low Spots (Dents) or even any High Spots then instead of using Body Filler to fix the problem he should of use a Body Hammer and Metal Dollies to straighten the Metal out...
