Running the bead next to the square really helps demonstrate the speed. Well done video as always.

These videos are the best! Picked up a TIG finger and a furick adapter kit recently from you. I'm a beginner. Both great pieces of kit - welding skills improving greatly having the right tools and your infinite wisdom. Happy new year to you and your family!

I watched almost all your videos and I am thankful for sharing your knowledge with us. There is only one video about puls mig welding, can you make another or maybe about double puls mig?

Just to have a little fun, I asked AI to give me something to comment on this video. This is what I got from AI. LOL...
~ Here’s how six famous actors might plausibly praise a great welding video, tailored to their personas:
    Tom Hanks:
"This welding video is a masterclass in craftsmanship-absolutely riveting work!"
    Samuel L. Jackson:
"Now that’s some badass welding! Precision like that deserves a standing ovation."
    Keanu Reeves:
"Whoa. This welding is breathtaking. The skill, the focus-pure art in motion."
    Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson:
"Incredible work! That welding technique is fire-literally and figuratively!"
    Robert Downey Jr.:
"Looks like Tony Stark’s workshop got some competition. That’s next-level welding right there!"
    Morgan Freeman:
"Witness the art of welding, where sparks fly and metals unite to tell a timeless story of craftsmanship." ~

Here’s something interesting…i was using er2319 filler recently to weld a jt8 aluminum thrust reverser fairing. First time using it….i found if i camped out too long it was almost like the puddle would overheat and burn. So i picked up speed and heat and it turned out just fine. Just found that odd. I can’t remember the base metal but was 2000 series.

For your tungsten, was it 2% Lan. or E3?
    Just curious

Is that supposed to be 188-195 amps at 1:15? I saw you before the weld set the amps to 200 on the PrimeWeld.

88-95 was actual amp readout with machine set to 200 Using foot pedal. Doesn’t take much amperage for a bead next to edge

Thanks for the great tips! Do you have any advice to weld 1/4 inch alu tube with thickness 0.035 inch for butt weld? Currently we used filler r5356

Why do some prefer #5 cup or #8 or a gas lens with bbw glass ?

    • @mrctuned2844
      @mrctuned2844 8 วันที่ผ่านมา

On aluminum, a #5 standard collet body cup will provide a nice narrow etching path that isn't much wider than most common welds seen in a typical shop. Ad you weld thicker materials you may run out of gas coverage and have to bump the cup size up to cover the "wider" weld. Some people prefer gas lenses on aluminum, but there are times when it is required, such as active gases (Stargon AL).
