I have cycled in 8 countries in 2023. This is the bike I take.

- I've traveled a lot this year. I think the bike and equipment choice can vary when traveling compared to when you're riding at home.
I have a race bike but this is the bike I choose to travel with and how I have it set up.

I give it a like before watching. I know it's guaranteed quality content
I love the Revolt - its the definition of a do it all machine. It might be the best modern bike ever made.
That bit at the end was really funny! 😂
😂
agree about what you say about Garmin
The issues with hookless are usually with people who don't read or ignore instructions. I'm not going to get any hookless wheels, but now with Giant shipping bikes with hookless wheels, it seems the customers buying it (few I know) have no idea about it and the tire pressure limit.
Thanks a lot for showing the gear you used. I like the rack.
You are so inspiring! Thank you!
Another amazing vid with a lot of information
Thanks for your support!
Cool video, informative and love your presentation style :-)
Thank you 🙏
Vittoria Rubino Pro G2.0 Tubeless offers good puncture protection at better prices than Pirelli.
I would definitely give them a shot. I need to a bit more research to see if they’re compatible with hookless wheels
Good video! We ditch Garmin longtime ago. Try your phone with Komoot and Quad lock. For us after along day of riding we still have 50% of batterie. Just fix Komoot so it talk to you and keep the screen off when you don't need it. Give it a try. Komoot may not work with power meter. Some other app may work? Have fun in Spain!
Thanks for the tip. I think not being able to use my power meter is a dealbreaker. For the most part, the Garmin does an ok job.
+1 on the mini pliers as I run tubeless as well. Would you have a link to the tool you showed on the video? Looking for something more compact than what I'm currently carrying, thanks! Another great video by the way! I have a revolt as well, it def is a do-it-all bike 🙌
Oops, nevermind, I just saw you did post it in the description, thanks again!
Thanks for the support!

I was in Europe when I ordered this but Leatherman also makes something similar.

Wait so how do you move the bike from country to country? Can you explain that and the cost factor.
So far im enjoying your videos
Flying with a bike is a pretty simple procedure if you have a bike box/case. There are many option’s available. I find the difficulty lies in everything else that comes with traveling with a bike. Like getting to the airport or moving city to city with a big bike box. It’s definitely a pain in the ass but for me it’s worth it.
The cost of traveling with a bike varies so much, I don’t even know what to say. It will mean getting a large size taxi some times. Also, different airlines will have very different luggage allowances so if you travel with a bike, it’s best to contact the airline beforehand. I’d say on average it will cost about $50 USD extra per flight for bringing a bike.
I am on the same Garmin pedals. Flawless. Why not give SRAM a try. I NEVER had an issue with SRAM on both of my bikes
I do like SRAM but I would like to keep the group set mechanical on this bike mainly because I use this bike for bike packing. Otherwise, I think Force XPLR would be a good option.
i love the rack but for 300 bucks, man. that's half the price of a GRX groupset.
Yah the price is eye watering. But at least the quality is there
