Love this
So beautiful
Thank you so much
I know this video has been up since 2021, but I think you just saved me from panicking about a Christmas gift I'm going to be working on. Thank you so much for the tutorial!
Glad I could help!
Id sayblack kn the light buildings and white on the dark buildings! That way you ahve the contrast and they are more joticable aswell :D
I will make the outline of the building with black for the contrast, but the window frames with white
I love it ❤
Both your embroidery designs are always so beautiful I can't choose ❤
Ty!
I can not find dmc water soluble sheet do you have any other company's name who sell similar product? I got embroidery stabilizer but the dots are way too smaller and together.
Google "water soluble cross stitch canvas," and it'll show what's available in your area. There's also "waste cross stitch canvas," made with water-soluble glue, and after you dissolve the glue, you can pull out the canvas threads. I'm not sure what you mean by smaller dots, but you probably need to look for a lower-count canvas. On the video is 14 count (14ct) - it means 14 holes per inch.
What is the canvas called
It's Linda linen, 28ct
Yoooo this idea of tracing then switching the hoop is gooood
Such a useful video. Thank you for demonstrating it so well.
Hi! What kind of fabric are you using, please?
So pretty 😍
Thank you!! 😊
Is the pattern on your Etsy? 😍
No, it’s only at Patreon.com/faimyxstitch. One month subscription costs as much as the pattern would separately, but you get all patterns I did since January as well
Where did you buy that rectangle embroidery’frame’ for stitching, please? Do you have a link where i can buy it? Thanks 😊
The patience and the creativity to make something like this must be boundless 😨
This is so cool
Thank you so much❤️
so mesmerizing to watch 😮
Thank you ❤️
Очень красиво ❤
Спасибо!
Very helpful. Thank you.
That sweater is so cool!! What stitch do you use for that?
It's a needle lacing technique called Ceylon stitch
😍😍😍
I just raw dog it but im mainly doing lines ans letters
Do you run the parked color under the new stitched before you use it again?
Yes, it would make the back look very clean. But if you don’t care about the back - it’s not necessary
Nice .love to see the next ...😊
I wish I knew that earlier bc I would park my thread where I left off and that would often be the same place as where I would be stitching so it would get in the way and be sooo annoying I don't embroider anymore tho😭😭
Better latter than never ❤️
How do you split a single thread
you don’t split single mouline cotton thread. It consists out of 6 strands. Each of this six can‘t be split further and used
Why do you prefer the blunt needles?
They don’t catch threads with their points. But if embroidery gets very detailed- sharp points are better
How close do you cut?
As close as it’s possible without cutting the thread
😮
Ooh front and back look amazing! I think it would take me at least 4x longer because i would have to keep counting every stitch or be paranoid that I counted wrong
There’s also a step number - amount of threads to cross to make the next stitch. In this case you go 2 steps up and it helps with count. Instead of counting the length of stitch for the whole row, you just count that it’s 2 steps higher/lower/the same as the nearby stitch
My grandmother taught me this technique over 50 years ago.
I had to learn it myself. But I guess I’m the TH-cam grandmother for some people who don’t have anyone else to share tips like this 😅
It's better if you push it down by the point instead of the eye
I do this all the time, but I feel it’s better using the point end rather than the eye because it’s narrower.
Interesting thought! The eye is more flat, the needle eye is narrower. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try both and see what feels better
Wooaah. And I always struggle, who knew it could be tat easy.
This is the only way I know about 😅
What about the classic licking and pushing it in? I also shared a video before using paper to thread
How have I managed to thread a needle without watching this..........😅
So I was doing it wrong this whole time
It's just one of the ways to do it
Simple and brilliant 👍 thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you!
What did you apply after painting with watercolour pencil on the last one?
It’s fabric medium by Liquitex. Unless you’re using specific watercolor for fabric - it’ll fade after washing. The fabric medium makes sure it doesn’t happen
@@Faimyxstitch oh okay got it. Thank you!
Amazing 😻
Thanks!
Your work is so so so neat If I had been doing the same? It would have been a mess on the backside
This is a special technique to make the front look exactly as the back. Anyone can do it following the tutorial. I’m sharing the techniques on my Patreon page: Patreon.com/faimyxstitch
My grand had hoops that had a notch through the tightening screw like an actual screw. She bought them 10 at a time (different sizes) she bought me some one summer that I stayed with them and I love them still. Sturdy and reliable. When she passed I was sent all of her embroidery things. Her hoops are still good! 💕💕💕
They are really great. These kinds of hoops are still around! for example by Elbesee. Very useful to get the fabric nicely taught, when your hands can't tighten the screw anymore
this makes me want to try embroidery even though i know ill suck at it
You’ll never know for sure until you try 😏
@@Faimyxstitch I suck at everything 😭
You are brilliant, Ksenia!! 😍
Wow, thank you!😳
This is so cool! ❤💥
I liked it nice idea
Thanks!
The dogs are so cute
Can you provide the product links
I added a few in the description
This is so fake omg I literally saw the switch
I had to cut video in the water to turn the fabric over. The last part is without cuts. Haven’t seen the color changing threads, but know how to do double-faced embroidery. Showed it in the short before this one
