I'm new to the sport. Just watching you guys cruise around the river casting flies and talking about the techniques was beneficial to me. What river is that?
Great video, yeah nor always about the catch, just being out, smaller water is great if you like to be humbled, small flies, lighter line & spooky fish,do you use nylon or flourcarbon leader ?
Hey im new to swinging flies for steelhead, my father is an expert for summer fish but i missed the summer run this year so im going straight into winter fish. I was wondering why the fish like these intruder type stuff. Are the just mad at the fact there is a giant bug in their face or do they see food? Any tips would help alot. I love you content btw i feel like this channel is the pinnical of swinging flies for steelhead and has taught me a butt ton of stuff.
I like the content........please please please work on the sound. Its the only missing piece, it will cost a little more money and time but the really loud river sound makes it almost unwatchable.
"Suspicious ripage" is the story of my winter steelheading career. Love your content. Keep it up!
Hahahaha yeah if only we could see all those rips
Like the laughs and the fishing and the hints .
Thanks terry!
Man I'm so excited for winter fishing
Aren’t we all!

We don’t share river names sorry but there are no shortage of articles or recourses that cover good steelhead/salmon rivers 🤘
Loving this content - makes you appreciate when it all comes together with those fish!
Thanks dude! Our video with you will be out within the next few weeks 🤘

We are using mono, personally we don’t think your leader is going to spook the fish haha. They swim straight into gill nets.

Hey there! Thanks for commenting. It’s likely a conditioned response. Steelhead get big eating lots of big things at sea. They are predators.
Looked like a great day with some suspicious ripage going on . Now get back out there :-)
Haha thanks Mike
