Hi Aleksandra. It’s always such a pleasure to sit and knit while watching your podcasts. I love how your advent cardigan turned out. What a great design! And the project bags you made are fantastic! Thanks for sharing your projects. See you again soon my sweet friend. Hugs 🤗
So great to catch up with you, Aleksandra. Always such a joy to sit down and knit with you. I really love your Radvent cardigan. I think it might be my advent project this year! Hope you have a wonderful week!
Great episode Ally - your Radvent is so lovely and the colour of your Gumnut cardigan is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing all your great projects. And thanks for the shoutout!!
Hi Ally Love your pink Cardy. The gum it colour is perfect. Love your Desert Vista dye works colour and that Magic Rose colour gifted by Marina 🤩. As always thoroughly enjoyed your show. Thank you 😊
I am always happy when I see your episode in my notifications! I am on my second Sophie scarf as well and I am not sure what it is so pleasant about it but I understand all the raving! ❤
Hi Ally! it was sooo fun to be able to catch up with you! You have been missed! I absolutely love all projects! You cardigans are simply fantastic! I've only ever made one cardi and feel like I need many more in my life 😂. And I soooo understand how you have been wanting to podcast but hard to find time. I'm exactly in that same spot! It's either we are not home, it's too noisy, or I'm completely drained. Oh well, I'm so happy you were able to squeeze this one in. Have a wonderful winter solstice! Cheers! 🥰🧶
Thank you so much Sophie, it really is hard to balance all of the things! I was hoping to record this weekend, but have been unwell and not sure that my voice has returned enough yet! Cardigans are great, although I am keen to try knitting a steeked one soon.
Ah, thank you! I thought it might be with the interfacing but my new spotlight has an odd layout and I couldn't find that either. Will need to ask someone next time ☺️
Dear Ally, It's always nice to spend some time in your comany and I really enjoyed this episode. Isn't it so amazing to have knitting friends who know how to spoil a friend? Amazing gifts! I'm really curious to see what you make with Ruby and Roses yarn, I've been following Addy since she was 16 and really like her podcasts too. Hope you have a great week, Greetings from New Zealand, Marina
I’ve got a 13 day Halloween advent right now and was thinking about making the radvent with it. I was searching around on TH-cam for people who have made it and your video answered my questions and totally inspired me to go ahead and do it. I can’t wait to watch more of your videos!
Morning,Young Lady👋Nice to catch up with all your glorious makes.🙏Am working on a long pair of DK socks for my husband too ( am a novice sock knitter) in MaxiMoo yarn he chose and your tips were appreciated.Your advent cardi looks beautiful 👏👌and was a great way to showcase quality Aussie yarn.Have a great week♥️.xx
Always enjoy your podcast. I've ordered my first advent from Louie & Lola, and the cardigan is already at the top of my list without seeing all the colours !!
I think it would work great with 13 minis and a main colour! You may need to adjust the stripes a bit depending on your size but that will be a beautiful piece.
I really like your Sophie scarf how it turned out slightly larger. I think the original one is just a bit hard to style for me personally, and the little bit of extra length looks just a bit easier to get it to hang nicely at the ends where you tie it over. The radvent looks so amazing I have mega regrets about not getting the Louie and Lola advent last year. I am getting an advent this year from Craft House Magic which from the inspiration images looks like it might have similar vibes and if it does I think I will use it to make a radvent.
Sorry to hear your Sophie scarf is a little short. I’m wearing mine today as more of a scarf (without tying the ends) and it has sat in place all day nicely. I’ll definitely be making future ones this size, it’s perfect! I can’t wait to see your Craft House Magic advent! 😍

thank you for another lovely podcast. the iron on wadding is kept with the interfacing in most spotlights rather than with the quilt wadding.
Ah, thank you! I thought it might be with the interfacing but my new spotlight has an odd layout and I couldn't find that either. Will need to ask someone next time ☺️

Thank you so much Annie! Your husband’s socks will be glorious!
Both Cardigans are so beautiful and even better in person. I am itching to start one, but first I need to finish some current wips :)))))
I keep saying that too and then all of a sudden I have new cast ons! 🤣
Always enjoy your podcast. I've ordered my first advent from Louie & Lola, and the cardigan is already at the top of my list without seeing all the colours !!
Wonderful! You will love your first advent, I have ordered one of these this year too ☺️
Thanks for the podcast great informative content. Also will check out the podcasts you recommended.
¡Hola! I've just came across your podcast, and I am in love with that cardigan. The colors! I'll be following along from Spain. @lamanchaknitter
Welcome and thank you so much for your lovely comment!
Love your cardigan. I have a set of 13 minis from a Halloween advent I think will work!!
