Ladies I love your podcast ! Please don’t change anything. Jonna I just saw on instagram that your Dad passed yesterday. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Nothing ever prepares us for that heart breaking loss. Sending love and hugs.❤️
One more comment, I love, love, love the chit chat. It makes the podcast personal. Please do not change that. Thank you!
I'm here for the chit-chat, the knitting stuff, Kim's hair, and everything else! My breath caught when Jonna said she had a house in Texas- This is my favorite podcast! I hope everything works out so you two can continue making this content. How about you ladies host a knitting retreat and we can all come to Texas (in the winter😀).
Ladies please don’t change anything your podcast works and the chitchat makes it REAL! Love your new intro and closing it’s lovely. Best of luck Jonna in your new home. So great to be near your family.
Ladies! Don’t let one comment bother you. You have 16K+ others who love your chit chat.
I absolutely love your chit chat! ❤
This is the reason why I'm here. Of course I'm also here for the crafting, but what makes me want to come back and watch again is the connection to the people. 😊
Thank you for sharing your lives with us! 🥰💞
Please don’t change anything!! That’s what knitting is all about! Don’t pay attention to negative people😖. We love your channel!💕💕💕🌸🌸
I love your podcast. Don’t change your ideas/identities based on the opinion of one. Be true to yourselves 💜
I love the chit chat. I can't believe someone complained about it.
I haven’t finished watching yet but stopped to say PLEASE don’t stop the chit chat!!! It’s so good to hear about the day to day that we all deal with….just like an in-person group. Just keep being you!!
Absolutely DON’T change! Have fun, be you and we love spending time with both of you! Please continue chit chatting and sharing all you want to share. We love you 🤗 ❤
I love your podcast, your chemistry and the chit chat! Don’t change your format! It’s what makes your podcast so you!
Thank you for the podcast! I loved seeing McKinney Knittery, and I thought that the background sounds of an open shop made it fell like a live conversation. Don't change a thing!
Knits n Pieces does a weekly KnitChat Café and they (Kim and Noelle) do it remotely, each from her own home. Maybe you could do something like that.
I’ve heard that the reason for doing the neckband last is to produce a garment with better structure, less stretching out . Especially over time . I guess it depends on the type of fiber you are using.
Keep talking about yourselves!! It’s never excessive and it is part of what makes your podcast so enjoyable
It’s called body doubling when you sit with someone else to get a task done. I use it a lot to get my kitchen cleaned. 😊 I love podcasts who chit chat. ❤
I love the chatty episodes! And am not bothered by the normal knit shop background sounds. Such a fun episode!!
You two are great together. I watch all the way through. I wish you could be on more often. Don't change a thing.
I love, love that you talk about your lives, your families, what you are wearing and of course
your hair kim. I’m always so excited to find out what inspired you to choose your hair color. It’s fun and yes … that is what we do when we meet to knit and I always feel I’m “knitting together” with you and I LOVE IT. Please don’t change, you are a delight 💗💕🥰
I love learning about each of you, it makes me feel a part of this community.
I enjoy everything about you two and your podcasts. There is always the off button for those not interested. Love watching you from Texas.
I really enjoy the combination of knitting talk and chit chat. Makes me feel like aim knitting with friends.
I absolutely love your chit chat, plz don’t stop ladies❤
Hi Kim and Jonna! This is Brenda, Rachel’s mom from Night Owl Fibers! It’s so good to see you. Welcome to Texas, I hope your move is going well. Looking forward to seeing you the next time we are in McKinney 😀
Totally agree, I honestly love chit chat, I knit and watch you whilst knitting ❤
Definitely love the chit chat. Best thing about the podcasts I watch.
Right now I am the care giver for my 83 yesr old husband thst has louey bodies. He spends alot of time sleeping, and isn't hard to care for. He doesn't use the second story of our house that has 2 guest rooms, guest bathroom, my yarn room and his "stamp" room which he no longer uses. We have 12 stairs into our house from the outside. So far he managing those. My crsft group is part of my selfcare routine. Son lives next door and he and his wife are also a great help.
I love it when you chat about your lives. And about yur kniting!
Hi Girls
Lovely to see you both and have a catch up, so much has been going on in your lives.
The knitting, gorgeous as usual, and the chatting is what makes you so enjoyable and makes me feel I’m spending time with a friend, please don’t change. Take care love you both 👵 xx
Please continue the "current life events"! Never change!
Wonderful!!! My absolute favorite yarn store… I’m lucky that I have family in Prosper and always go to McKinney Knittery when I’m in town!!! Such a treasure! Thank you for sharing 💜 Stephanie
I'm here for the chatting and life, it's what makes us a community. Don't think on it or change anything because you both are wonderful. I wondered why you were sad, Kim. I didn't want to pry at the time. Always hard when friends relocate but nice everyone can be together. Hugs Jonna, I'm writing this after the news of your father. The fairy smut and dragon smut is hilarious. Kim, so glad to hear about Burton's wife doing well. Hugs to both, Kimberly
So Happy to see you girls! Thanks for making this podcast work!💕
You guys do you! This is your podcast. Make it and evolve the way you want! You 2 are one of my favorites… wish you were my neighbors!!
So happy to see your new episode! I am knitting on my Sabai top in Line as I was watching. Very nice job on your granddaughter 's sweater, Kim! Such a professional finishing job! Jonna, hope things ease up for you a bit and reading and knitting brings you quiet moments to recharge. ❤ to you both! I really enjoy your episodes! Thank you!
So wonderful that good friends help each other❤️
Yayyy! Beautiful yarn shop! Keep the chit chat! You both inspire! As a paper/pen person, I too saw TSS project binder… I want, desperately. All the best to you both, your families and take care!
Thank you for inspiring, will check out allll the things!
Happy 60th Birthday Kim🥳. You are fabulous! I’m turning 60 in October 😊
Thank you for another wonderful podcast-please don’t change a thing! Your chit chat is so much fun-it’s like we are sitting right there with you and knitting along! Happy birthday Kim! Jonna so sorry to hear about your dad, sending hugs. Your friendship shines through and I so look forward to your podcasts! Blessings to you both! ❤️
I just love to see you both together. You are both so natural and that is what makes it so good.
I want to say Jonna that I know exactly where you are coming from with your dad. I’m sorry you had to make such a huge life change and move states, but you are such a wonderful daughter and you will be rewarded for all you are doing. I’m so glad you found the motivation to start knitting again and reading is also a great distraction. I’m praying for you and your dad and I’m sending my love and positive energy.snd kim you are such a great friend. I’m sure Jonna feels so lucky to have you beside her at this moment in her life 🙏🏼💙
Thank you girls for another very enjoyable podcast. I love & appreciate everything you do, especially chit chat. Feels like knitting with friends.
Love your sweet podcasts!!💕 You gals continue to film despite very challenging circumstances. Love catching up on your lives, knitting, and seeing new yarn.
🤗🤗🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️ to you, Kim & Jonna!!!
Thank you for a cozy pod and wow for a fantastic yarn shop 🤩
Enoy you both so much!
what a wonderful supportive friendship - you can feel the love and support oxo
Thanks you guys for a lovely show and the knitting looks lovely… all the best to the both of you 🥰👏🏼🧶
McKinney Yarn is an awesome shop. Awesome staff. I stop in every time I'm driving through Texas back East.
I so enjoy every aspect of your fiber art passion.
Love your heartfelt friendship to all of us.
Truly authentic 😉
I love your format and the chit chat! You ladies where the very first knitting podcast I ever watched!❤
I think that you have just the right amount of chit chat! Don’t change a thing! As much as we love our aging parents it can be a stressful time in our lives. Both of you take care of yourselves.
What a beautiful shop. Yarn AND fabric. Two of my favorite things! And to have access to Merchant and Mills is icing on the cake. Both of you take care ❤.
I love the chit chat! You learn about each other and pick up SO many tips and ticks. And not just about knitting. I agree with comments below, dont go changing anything. You two are an amazing duo and while I typically kind of sit back in the shadows and watch, I had to thrown in my 2 cents ;) XOXO!
And like the other 16.000 viewers, please please don´t change the chitty chatty part. Sometimes it´s to easy to listen to one person that hopefully will find the Podcast that will suit her, but please listen to all the thousands and thousands fans of your podcast. Thank you both for so much fun and joy!!!
Sorry but it´s so confusing for me that in this episode you were not talking about your lovely hair. The colour is so beautiful, reminds me of the pictures on your mugs!!! And a little bit late: Happy Birthday, never thougt that you were already at the beginn of your sixties. Now I am just 57 and so I am looking toward future times with a little bit of confidence !!! 😁😁😁😂😂😂♥♥♥ Anna
So exciting to see you in Texas! I love McKinney Knittery, a beautiful shop!
Big hugs and thanks for continuing to your podcast! ❤
I was missing you guys and very happy to see a new video. It’s nice to hear what’s going on in your lives and what you are knitting or crocheting. What a gorgeous yarn/fabric store. I would love if we had a local yarn store where i live but, alas, we do not. Kim, your granddaughter’s sweater is turning out so beautiful. 😊
Thank you so much Jonna for the audiobook recommendation, I listened to 4th wing and just started today the court! Love it! Also thank you both for being you! ❤️
So great to see you two again. Love the chit chat! Jonna that is quite a move. Good for you thinking about your father’s health. I do believe it’s also going to be healthy for your grandchildren too.
Great podcast. Sending you both much love and support while your lives take a new turn. It’s so sweet to see your friendship.
Oh I’m so sad for you both. Reminds me of Jackie and Caitlin 😢 big hugs Jonna, this stage is not an easy path to traverse. Thanks for a fab podcast. Happy 60th Kim 💪🏻🥰 and have a blast in Italy. Thanks, Karen. Oh dragon and fairy smut… never laughed so hard 🤭😂
Oh that is amazing to see Debbie! I’ve test knitted for her last year. Great designs !
Thank you for your lovely podcast and love all the talk about everything, don’t change.
I have just found your podcast & I absolutely love it! I'm absolutely shocked someone disliked you talking about yourself 😢 I love the format you have and the chit chat because it's not a Tutorial where you just focus on the Tutorial ... I love that it feels like I'm sitting down with friends & both your personalities are amazing & engaging!
I live alone so this is just perfect for me & I love what you talk about & show!
❤ Susannah in Perth, Australia 🦘
So good to knit together with you again.
Safe travels to Italy.
Dragon smut to Fairie smut! Not a sentence I thought I would never hear.🤣 Take good care of Yourself Jonna.🥰
Great episode. Welcome to Texas Jonna. I’m not native but have been here close to 50 years. I have decided for myself that no amount of wool works for me during the heat of the summer!!!
Paused the video to say… Oh, I absolutely love the chit chat and life updates etc. It makes the podcast feel like we are at a knitting hang out chatting and knitting. Ok, now let me resume the video 😂
Have always enjoyed your podcast. It’s hard when life changes but you can do this.
So excited you are near me - and that you are at McKinney Knittery! I go there when friends are in town and we knit, chat, eat, drink, and have a wonderful time! Hope to see you there at some time!
How wonderful is the (beginning of) one of your new spaces belongs to both of you. Your l ives and your knitting are important to me.
podcasts are not advertising for projects only, its a personal space
Great to see you girls together again. ❤
You guys are such great friends. I love your working together to make a beautiful yarn and craft closet. Night Owl yarns is wonderful. My Texas knitting friend introduced me to her sock yarns and they are beautiful.
This is awesome! My step-son and daughter in law live in Royse City. I found McKinney Knittery on my first visit there in May. It is just a lovely shop!
Another great podcast- and I usually watch it twice- I really liked the atmosphere and the people you spoke about and introduced here - isn’t “making “ a great passion?! ❤
Glad to see you ladies again. Love your new intro. Beautiful job on your granddaughters sweater. My granddaughter who is six wants me to knit or crochet a sweater for her, suggestions are welcomed. Thank you for sharing with us your personal stories. I 'm going through a similar situation. Thank you again, enjoy your Italy trip. Look forward to seeing more videos.
Thanks for great episode and sharing what’s going on in your lives.
So pleased to see you both on the episode. I was concerned that something may have happened to stop you making videos. I do hope all goes well for you in Texas Jonna. Love the new surroundings and all your natural approach and chit chat. 🇬🇧
I love hearing about your lives and your friendship and all the stuff you want to share. I feel the same way as others - nothing to change. I am sad for you both that you wont be local to each other for now. But your friendship is obviously strong enough that you will make it work. I love your Oslo sweater Jonna - that colour is stunning. Kim, I love what you are doing with the Rowan pattern for your granddaughter. I do the same. I am knitting a Rowan pattern Charisma by Martin Storey and I am doing short rows instead of a stair step bind off and making sure i always have a plain edge stitch when i have to seam. Thanks again for taking the time to share with us. Thinking of you and praying for you Jonna with the difficult stage you are in with your dad. x
Feedback needs to be kind and candid not nitpicking. You are very gracious for accepting such thoughtless critique. It is unnecessary and uncalled for. Be who you are and thank you for the wonderful conversation as always ❤
Sure glad you guys are who you are and share it with us! I have family in McKinney and will look forward to visiting McKinney Spinnery next time I’m there. Great podcast, even with all the stuff going on around you. It’s like I’m in the store with you. ❤️ and 🤗 to both of you!
I love the idea of a "best practices" video. I'm probably an advanced beginner, and there are times when I realize that there must be a better way to do something, but I'm not sure where to go or what to do at that point. Love your podcast--especially from the McKinney Knittery!
I was so glad to see your podcast today! I know that you both have a lot going on….it still felt like so long since I got to hear your awesome chit chat ( don’t change a thing!). I empathize with you Jonna. My mother recently went into assisted living. It is very stressful! You both are fabulous!
I don't have IRL knitty friends so I love feeling like there's a real community of online people to connect with... even if I can't actually chat with you 😊
Hey so glad to see you two! Please don’t change a thing I love the podcast. Kim I love your hair!
Yes, chit chat for me too! I hope you enjoy your new life in Texas, Jonna, but please keep podcasting. I spotted your podcast early on because my sister is called Jonna. Here in the UK it’s a very unusual name, in the 72 years she has had it neither of us have met another one. No Scandinavian ancestry - our mother was reading the life of Hans Christian Andersen while she was pregnant. Now I discover that, like me, your mother is called Caroline and, also like me, she is 80 this year! Happy birthday Jonna’s Mom! Keep well, keep knitting, stay friends and just keep going.
Thank you ladies 😊
I love your podcast, very sad for you both to be far from each other for a while. I moved away from my 25 years business partner (we owned a drapery workroom) , she is now retired, (7 years already), she lives only 35 minutes drive but we were only 5 minutes away from each other before. Our last years in business together I went through cancer treatment and she was so supportive, she is my best friend and we make time for each other even if we both have a busy life. I wish you both the best in your new life together.
I love the chit chat and knitting!
I love both of you and I love McKinney Knittery so much. ❤
Great episode. I hope you are able to continue. Also, I love learning about the people I watch or listen to and the places they live through the chit chat.
When I was at Maryland Sheep and Wool this year, I lamented superwash yarn and how I found it unpredictable for size, and the yarn person told me it actually does better when you throw it in the washing machine, and put it in the dryer at time removal of it from the dryer at 5 minute intervals so it recovers.
Didn’t realize how much I’ve missed watching you both! Thanks for this episode!! I love “catching up” on your lives and your projects.
I was missing y’all….Love McKinney Knittery shop,,,,My BFF lives in Frisco, TX and I always go there….Love love it !!!
im on the side of lots of chit chat, thats what makes a community if you care for others and are interested in their lives, thats what makes a good friend!
Love the Chit Chat… don’t stop!
Thanks for a lovely new episode. I get the sadness Kim, my bestie moved to the other side of Sweden about a year ago, life isn’t the same….
Jonna - your LYS is just wonderful - I have seen it featured in one of Knitty Natties episodes.
Thanks for the shout out and welcome!!! ❤
Oh I forgot. I bought the pattern to the Sabai top last week. Going to check out Sandnes Line yarn tomorrow! I’m also knitting on a very blue Petite Knit pattern - I chose the Cloud Blouse and use Isager yarns. One kid silk thread and one thread Isager Trio1 (linnen/cotton/bamboo).
I love your podcast and I love the chit chat, how fun to be in a knitting shop while you podcast. Kim HappyBirthday and have a great trip. Jonna I am thinking of you.
Turns out I'm a dragon smut and fae smut lover too. Wouldn't have thought it but I am. 😚Good to see you both and catch up!
Love your podcast very much and enjoy your stories and chit chat 🤗 I wish you all the best and many greetings from Germany 👋
Love your podcasts and great new intro!!❤❤
I went to McKinney Knittery last year (I’m from Salem, MA) and I fell in love! I wish I could go there regularly!
