My take is that this Jetstream Sam fellow and his female counterpart are infected with the technocyte virus. He's clearly Excalibur (Arthur nudge nudge). @jeffbrownstain well that really isn't the point of the game, it never was, and it was only ever just a side add on to do for mild entertainment. I wouldn't hold your breath. Let pvp sweaty syndrome persist in other games.
@@jeffbrownstain you might be the first warframe player to ever care about pvp - i wouldn't get your hopes up since absolutely nobody wants to play the gamemode so DE is highly unlikely to touch it again
That’s a skana, but close lol
The first Warframe related thing i want to play. Maybe this will get me into the game
This the closest we getting to a sequel to Dark Sector 😔 still looks good tho
Still praying
@@ErgosProxy pray harder, it’s not working 😭🙏
Not a lot of people know about that game. A classic for real
Dark Sector wasnt supposed to exist, this could arguably be the true Dark Sector they envisioned
Only thing I got from this trailer is that the AK is always a good choice, no matter what era.
Looks like a Soma to me.
@@diamonjeIts an AK
@@JohnGatsbyThe3rdAnd how far off from a Soma is the AK?
@diamonje You do know that guns exist in real life right?
it took them a decade but they finally made a sequel to DarkSector.
First time i saw the first trailer for warframe. I prayed it would be single player only. I wish we could get a game in that universe at least once.
Really wish they packed all the lore into a single player /coop campain, u would pay to play it
@@iurycabeleira7990I mean, I've done all of the story solo?
Imagine that, you can play it Solo.
What a surprise right?
This game always looks amazing. But I’ll be honest I need a simple
Story, loot upgrading system cause i have no idea what is going on since it came out 😂
I didnt know how to ride a bike when i sat on one...until you learn 🤯
@@-pressxtostart-Terrible comparison though it’s in bad faith anyway so who cares
Warframe isn’t for you then, it’ll never be simple. It is a pain but it’s a pain we love.
Is it really hard to understand the story ??? Idk it seems simple enough to me except the paradox thing I’m guessing it’s the story of what happened when u fell inside that place during the new war start so technically dex is still alive wait nvm my brain just clicked and I understand the story now lol
@@dantesilvesta more or so there’s a lot to learn, listened to a 9 hour video going over its lore during one of my shifts before. Like sure there’s a lot of stuff that you don’t have to know but there’s still a lot.
I started from scratch in this game over a month ago. I finally got to the point where I saw this scene fot myself.
What a ride.
And we're just getting started.
Man this guy looks like he know the Rules Of Nature
But that was Raiden?
I dont know voidtongue but i'm pretty sure it said "happy new year!"
Someone might wanna let him know the safety lever on his space AK is engaged and therefore cant fire.
You ever shoot a space AK???
@@popereptillianlord6174 Space AK is still AK. Safety lever is engaged on the model. No excuse.
@@TexasToast712game devs aren't firearm experts lol
@@TexasToast712 maybe space AKs work differently.
@@popereptillianlord6174 physics is physics my guy. There is realistically no way for the bolt to cycle rounds and fire with the safety lever in that position.
ah yes, Jotaro goes back in time to the 90s to meet Jetstream Sam during the zombie apocalypse... seems about right right for warframe at this point
Looks like the memories are broken and the truth has gone unspoken
😂 When he collapsed I thought I was gonna hear.
Beep beep*
Arthur!!?
Arthuuurrr!!???
AAARRTTHHHURRRR!!!!
This expansion is going to be insane bro. The game is free too
And so are the expansions take notes bungie
Getting big Metal Gear Vibes
Never expected a Nine Inch Nails song in Warframe out of everything
> video released a full year ago
> zero dislikes
Everyone likes robot ninjas with guns in space in the 90s
I have no context behind warframe but the first thing i thought when i saw the guys is Jetstream Sam
i remember playing that mission it felt amazing and reminded me so much of dark sector and i love it
Watch Dog + Metal Gear = solid! $70 full game?
Probably a new warframe expansion so free
Hugo Schmeisser's (aka alkashnikov's ak-47)rifle was very popular in 90-2000ths
I need this. I'll download WF just to bush up on tings. Seriously. LFG
Its gonna take you a while
If I had to pick it up now I’d play duviri paradox 1999 then grind out realframe
Jetstream Sam + Raiden Suit + Big Boss vibe Music. If u know what im saying...
Dont worry guys. If anyone ever told you they knew what was going on in this game, they were lying to you.
Arthur is definitely the person used to create normal excalibur, and im gonna be sad if we see him transform during this. but this is gonna make me feel so much more connected to my journey through warframe with excalibur as my frame
other way around, albrecht travelled back in time and used the helminth strain and excalibur as a blueprint to create what arthur is
At first glance, i thought that was Vamp from MGS4
'99 baby here, hyped AF for this and cross save
Those Necromech prototypes look cool lol.
"Mind if i cut in?"
-Samuel Rodriguez
Reminds me of metal gear revengeance.
I was thinking the same thing. He looks like sam
I am in love with the implication that the Infestation possibly originated from the Y2K virus.
This game makes me think of so many other old games
dark sector by chance? it was the first game digital extremes published before warframe and was a precursor to what warframe is today and this quest: warframe 1999 ties in inspirations of dark sector with how "Hayden tenno" (the guy in dark sector used modern weapons despite looking like a mix of miliary and scifi and having a similar look to the excalibur proto skin) the fact there was a volt proto skin too also gives me hype if we would see a guy as volt that has flash bangs and a tazer or something show up. arthur is an obvious reference to king arther the guy who pulled the sword from stone because i don't think they wanted to use the name hayden tenno considering we are the tenno itself and would be confusing to add that in amongst other things. im just hyped for what they have cooking... once i become mr30 im gonna buy the $20 mr30 pin they sell to you in their online merch store they only sell to accounts that are mr30 ingame... i need something physical to show to my kids later down the line as i login for the last time and see the universe implode or something due to some unknown entity or something
Man I was kinda hoping we'd get something with Hayden Tenno from Dark Sector and Technocytes but we might anyway.
This almost reminds me of Dark Sector
You definitely got it!
I just realised the dude weilding the *excalibur* armor is named Arthur.
finally a dark sector sequel and a Warhammer space marine 2 sequel...... took long enough XD
had to see what all those comments on the Nine Inch Nails music video was about
The continued story of dark sector nice
First thing I thought of when it started was Dark Sector a parallel time line. Time to get out the game and play it on the 360 .
i am so down to play as Keanu Reeves in Warframe
“You are Late.” -Wallbrecht / Albrecht Entrati
fully believe this is going to be a throwback to dark sector
Futuristic AK looking gun, Sword with ninja moves, sign me all the way up!
Warframe never ceases to suprise me 😂
Dark Sector with a Resident Evil vibe? I'm into it.
I'm sure Hayden Tenno will be back.
2:17 Hey... That's Mag Prime on that Poster...
Those posters are concept art for the original Darksector that never released from 2004
@@MEYH3MWell, Warframe _Is_ what Dark Sector was _intended_ to be, and the only reason Dark Sector released as it as was because Microsoft forced Digital Extremes to remake it.
@@Victor-056 dark sector wasn't published by Microsoft
Maybe this is an introduction to using the Driftor in missions now? As a character not just an extension of the Warframe?
Idk "Arthur is in Excaliburs suit"
Idk who Arthur is, idk what the story is anymore anyways lol. But it would be cool
I've always talked amoung friends and we would pass ideas around, one being that the level above Steel path would be you play as Driftor, with ur own set of weapons. Massive restrictions since u aren't in the bio-metal suit. Character tree using the school's you are apart of instead of modded - ya know since you aren't a bio-metal suit with the ability to be modded.
Hopefully something similar
The Drifter style of slower fighting is basically what they are doing for Soulframe. Warframe is all about going fast so I'm not sure Drifter in space missions would work.
Personally I hope 1999 is more like a Resident Evil type horror game, with the WF gunplay and dodging.
Drifter already is extremely weak. Even the Operator is.
Sure the Story hype us up as being over the Top Godlike Powerful, but thats only because the VOID is deadly to Sentinels.
I know they say its arthur but I'm holding hope that its actually Hayden Tenno or at the very least, his descendant.
He really looks like an older Hayden if you compare the face images
@@iurycabeleira7990 I know right? Hence why I'm holding hope that it is.
It's only a few years after the time DS was set in. I dont think its Hayden but maybe he will be in it. Or a mention of him
@@PeppaJackable I see......
@@PeppaJackableHonestly, i'm betting "Arthur" is a codename.
