I've played this game for a decade and it's evolved so beautifully. I haven't been into it as much lately but this is bringing me back into it. Both Duviri and 1999 are so awesome.
Part of me wants to believe Technocyte Coda are a case of the fight's mechanics being designed first, then during testing someone jokingly called them a boy band, and then the lore for them spiraled out of control from there because the joke took everyone out on the spot.
That's being dramatic. A lot of it is comprebensible and well written. It's hard to understand at first but once you really look into the lore it makes sense.
What I'm more curious about is why Albrecht is going back to 1999 specifically... From the perspective of current era Warframe, 1999 is hundreds of millennia in the past... What's so special about 1999 in particular?

Like the other responder said 1 to 2 months if you just play *really* casual, couple of weeks if you really grind. The "simple" way to play is to just follow the cinematic quests. Should get you up to speed fairly rapidly. And never, ever be afraid to ask for help. You'll be quite likely to run into a vet who'll just haul you off to his/her clan so they can toss Mods (what you use to build the power of your weapon/frame) at you cause we got SO many spares. I do it often if I see a new player.
Yoi can speedrun very easily the main storyline, not reccomended tho youll miss a lot of things that make this game unique, also, all warframe "dlcs" are free and the game aswell.

@@ZakKypto Yes, you do need an internet connection. The questline will probably be a few hours, but then it will open up a half dozen or so mission nodes and a new syndicate to level up to get all the shinies. Dozens of hours.
This looks beyond awesome !! Man this just makes me want Warframes to have human heads even more, my main issue with Warframe are the Warframe's themselves, I always prefer to play as a human looking chars.

Thanks. The graphics look better than what I remember of the original game. Most probably due to the choice of colour palette, it gives off a different mood to the atmosphere.
@@SagaciousEagle they keep updating their engine and lighting system to make it stay somewhat relevant to modern day. If you compare old Warframe videos to how the game. looks in the entrati lab you can see the difference

Well with that quest you'll be able to have human heads on Excalibur, Volt, Cyt-09, Trinity, Mag and Nyx
That won't make sense lore-wise though and to be honest, the weird-looking Warframes sets them apart from a plethora of scifi tropes.
