Nigella Lawsen and Ina Garten are both relaxing to watch and I'd find myself bingewatching on their clips of recipes off youtube. I'd like to see these two cook something together. They have that no muss and shortcuts from the pantry and stores approach that I find delightful as they cook and host their guests.
I like this good, no-fuss recipe for roast lamb. Nigella, I am happy that you are uploading videos on TH-cam, where you have total control over when you want to publish a particular episode.
@@SmthAbout.Money.SmellsLikeLove I was stating my observation visiting Turkey and Greece. I have found that using dill in yogurt based salads/dippings is more prevalent in Greece than Turkey. It seemed to me that fresh mint was the preferred herb for cacik, which is also the case in Levant/Mesopotamian cuisines.
I'm located in California and have no idea where I can get the spice mix. Does anybody know which brand Nigella is using? Maybe its available on Amazon. If anybody knows please reply. Many thanks.
Bella Ferman No worries, Bella! If you cannot find a shop nearby that sells Ras el hanout but are able to find individual spices then you can always make your own blend. I've found a recipe by Nargisse Benkaboun. She is fairly well-known Moroccan chef in the UK
As much enjoyment as she gets out of using knives and that chopper, if cooking doesn't work out for her, she could always baffle Scotland Yard as a serial Killer.
It’s RAS EL HANOUT, from Seasoned Pioneers, a great supplier in the UK (ships everywhere). Great online site! I live somewhere the range of ‘exotic’ spices does not normally reach - SP saves my bacon!
No, they're what Indians call Kalonji. Sometimes they're called onion seeds, although they're not onion seeds either. Not opium or poppy seeds at all. Totally different.

You love stabbing meat…., the cold Sunday Roast video, you like it bloody, and talk about a fetish. Some real S&M or serial killer vibes in these videos. It's like the female version of Hannibal Lecter making some rather fine dishes!
In this video, the author very simply and easily cooks a delicious and juicy leg of lamb in the oven. He did well. Here is his video th-cam.com/video/mDfuqmEBgsI/w-d-xo.html
hey nigella, i've noticed that you really love showcasing middle eastern and north african cooking. are you using your platform to speak out against anti-muslim and anti-immigration rhetoric in the uk? without islamic people or immigration and sharing of cultures you wouldn't have any of this food to enjoy or make money off of.
I love her voice! She sounds so graceful 😍
Nigella is the best. The way she describes the ingredients💯💯

The recipes go so well with the Bossa Nova in the background!
This is the most I have ever seen her season food lol
Beautiful. Food and chef both.
I actually make that Cacik but substitute dill for the mint and serve it with fish. I dice the cucumber very finely though. It makes a good dip too.
I liked the recipe and loved the accent.
Love u from algeria 🇩🇿🇩🇿
This looks amazing, I bet it smells divine too 😋
NIGELLA LOOKS REALLY BEAUTIFUL
Mam ,,I have loVed you since my childhood..you are still my no 1 dream lady..
I love you ad god bless u💓💓💖💖💖💖💖💗💗💗👀
DELICIOUS
and lamb is always tasty
Also, try the cacik (we know it as tzatziki) with lots of dill instead of mint!
mint goes better with lamb
In bulgaria is tarator,without mint
Right. That's the Greek variant of Cacik! Like Nigella pointed out, there and many different varieties all over the east Mediterranean.
@@mgkatyj how is that the greek fariant I always make it with dill and rasp the cucumber instead of chopping

Cacik is something like the well known Hellenic Tzatziki sauce that we use in the Souvlaki.
Bilgarian tarator is same
@@mladenangelov6882 but you don't use garlic right? Let me know
