I just wanted to comment. FINALLLYYYY we're in YMIR again. I LOVED it in the second game. The people the aesthetic, the hot springs, the BGM. Good GOD. I waited 3 games to finally be back in this location. WOOOOOO
I might be in the minority, but I concur, preferred cs1+cs2 over the new duology.
I LOVE THIS! Seeing Ymir and Reans parents again in high def is one of the things I didn't know I needed until I saw it, the only problem I have is that you didn't greet Luke, old man Gizmo and father Bernard

Looking at this scene, you have to wonder if Class VII now has Combat Tactics in the curriculum, now that Randy is back with the SSS
I think it’s mentioned in one of the ‘side’ episodes of sorts that someone replaced Randy. Think it was Instructors Michaels younger sister, not sure if she was replacing Michael himself or Randy though.

The dude saved the world more than pretty much anyone, is a Divine Blade, an awakener, but apparently random still think he's a rookie that need to be tested --'

@@guifire9747 You can take "Awakener" out of the equation, don't forget, the divine knights disappeared after Ishmelga fell after using their life force to keep Millium (Or rather, the sword) alive, and resurrect Crow
@@fierytigergaming8112 He's still an awakener , just like he's still a hero even when he's just chilling at the pub, or Cassius is still a DB even when he don't touch a sword anymore
That's an achievement and a part of his history (or legend at that point)
Tho Divine Knight being completely out is highly debatable considering what happened in Hajimari ^^

I know that certain 'training' can be dangerous, but that was a bit too much....
Looks like there's a bit of that 'power' left in Rean. It makes sense. The 'source' of that power did inhabit/stationed in Rean's body for more that 5 years (along with the 'source' growing stronger by the year), so it might've altered some things. So because of that (along with learning 'Spirit Unification'), there was a bit of a 'residue' that stayed even if the 'source' is gone'.

@@soralight_x there was one in the last video where he put 6 months instead of 5 months but it just a little thing.
@@soralight_x It's not a mistake, it's just that this trad is a spreadsheet, it can only display one translation even if an event can have different dialogue depending on your choice. Here the player chosed Laura as his romantic interest, but the one who did the spreadsheet choosed fie, it's sadly the limit of this form of translations.
I will always be mad that you can't get Juna wearing Rean's coat as a cape as one of her costumes in-game.

So i have something to ask on my clear save if i finished my second playthrough and on my 1st i choose someone example ”Alisa" and on my second playthrough i choose a different preson will that show up two heart or only the heart on the last playthrough ?
If its the same as it was in the past games, once you do an ng+ you get all the changes in conversations and starting bonds as if you "romanced" them all.
wow. after watching the prologue and this video, im 100% sure Falcom just increased their standard in the writing compared to cold steel 4. or is it just the translation too good compared to cs4?

Honestly i choose alisa cause she's main heroine and i thought that will be they wedding scene in the end 😅. I guess my expectation was over high
i did heard the rumors that Falcom actually want to make wedding ending with heroine you choose but because they somehow add Juna,Musse and Altina (Minor). it canceled and become Olivert and Schera's wedding

Anyone else wonder at what point will it finally be an issue that literally every female in Reans vicinity is interested in him romantically? Like isnt his relationship supposed to be already set with one of those girls? Some friendships and healthy relationships they have going on there...

And there shouldnt be, considering what she did and who she is, she should have been killed or at the very least put in jail for being a part of the worst war crime in history of Zemuria.
It kind of makes me want to throw up seeing Claire just standing alongside class VII as if nothing happened.. what even are consequences in this series anymore.
I find it hilarious that Altina feels bad about being here but Claire has no issues :D
Rean is the one questioning if he can be happy (because of course he has to have some self inflicted issues otherwise he could actually develop into a character one of these days) and Claire is the one supporting it, instead of the other way around :D
Well this opening was nonsensical and not needed o.O Except the fact that of course Rean now has his super power with no drawbacks whatsoever (not that there were many before).

@@coldpainrouuya393 Not really the case and never to this degree. Remember Richard? Not only he was actually controlled at the time, but his crimes were far, far smaller, yet he actually went to prison, he was only freed when it was neccessary for survival of the country. Also, just because it was used before and used in other jrpgs, doesnt mean its always ok, it needs to be written well and here, its incredibly nonsensical.
It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever for Claire to just be let free, much less have her and Lechter retain their positions. They are war criminals, they lied to their entire country, borderline mind controlled them and forcibly sent them to war, they should have been executed easy as that. This is only compounded by the fact that every baddie in CS is just a friend who is missguided and every fight is simply a battle of wills to show them how mistaken they were. Remember when baddies used to be bad and actually died? That simply doesnt happen in CS.
In any case, Lechter and Claire are left alone because they are popular, people like Claires look and Lechter is shipped with Claudia and Falcom doesnst kill of characters anymore (we even have ressurection now, lol), and Rufus escapes from prison almost immidiately and is even allowed to occupy Crossbell. Its utterly ridiculous. They are major part of a group that commited the biggest war crime in history of Zemuria. Sure just let them go why not, there is nobody better to lead your secret police than a person who has a history of lying to the populace and controlling them, how could that go wrong. Lechter and Claire are not neccessary and most certainly not to be trusted.
They are morally bankrupt people without heart or soul, they shouldnt be allowed to breathe, much less be in the story anymore in my opinion. This is part of the reason why I think CS writing is poor, nobody actually behaves or thinks like a human being and logic and consistency is thrown away for emotion and spectacle.
But sadly, we cant do anything about it, other than hope it will change in Kuro. I personally am cautiously optimistic about it, they said all the right things :) but I am very glad to leave CS behind, it was simply too much.
@@KaiSaeren dude alan richard is the real antagonist in trails in the sky series. He's not supporter/playable/likeable characters ofc dev don't really care if he end up in prison or die. If i must say rufus is actually more similar to richard and he end up in jail too but for other reason he's free because dev make him protagonist in hajimari no kiseki.
@@KaiSaeren like i said before it always happen in every kiseki series where friend become foe and become friend again or just foe become friend. It always happen no matter how big the crime that characters did. If you already play or watch hajimari no kiseki there is shorts story of rean in calvard where he fights some ninja and "hime" character. I'm pretty sure she will be introduced as antagonist in calvard and in somepoint she will join the protagonist squad.
@@coldpainrouuya393 And again, just because something similar happens, doesnt mean its always acceptable, good or well done. Richard is a great character and his redemption is handled well, Claire and Lechter not so. Its not about it being the same, its about how its done. Just because something is cliché doesnt make it automatically good.
Not to mention that Claire and Lechter tried to kill themseves, its only because Rean denies people the option to chose for themselves that they survive.
I agree about Hime and depending on how its done I will either enjoy it or hate it.
